@Hybrid_Trader @OddStockTrader Seems to be a recurring theme month end, at least for me. Best plays are sometimes in the beginning of the month, usually in the middle, slows down most often towards the end of the month.

@Kinfo Stick to system, but size way down. Hopefully you already have forward test data with small size before risking enough capital per trade to be anywhere close to a 30% drawdown. That would give you much more confidence in your system.

My drawdown that began late October has now been fully recovered. The low was ironically put in a few days after this quoted tweet. Learned a lot and became a better trader for it.

Jokes aside, this is the worst drawdown I’ve experienced in dollar amount, percent off the highs, and length of time in all of my trading career. I’m practically speechless how difficult it’s been getting any kind of gain bigger than the losers I’m taking. I do have some swings in the background working but nothing close to level of inconsistency I’m having on every other strategy. Long term I’ll work my way out of it but for now, holy shit this is something else.
