@adewale6567 He already is. He got Dan Ashworth sacked so he can have more power as Director of Football. He got Amorim sacked because he needed recruitment. Remember Wilcox was a Leeds and Blackburn player.

Bournemouth acting like how a club that wants to progress should be. New players will know for sure that this is D guy thy’ll be playing for if thy sign for Bournemouth. But at united we still have an interim manager, and as it stands we don’t have any clear target. FR 🤦‍♀️🤔🤦‍♀️😢

🚨🍒 Bournemouth are set to appoint Marco Rose as new head coach from June. Agreement done with former RB Leipzig manager to replace Andoni Iraola next season. Rose has agreed terms with #AFCB and the contract is set to be approved soon. 🇩🇪

@angel_elixir What Amorim did was crossing the line with Jason Wilcox. Wilcox already had Dan Ashworth sacked, he just needed Amorim gone to strengthen his power. That’s why the board is hesitant now, Wilcox like Carrick because he just wants a puppet, while Ratcliffe want who can create chaos

Amorim was the closest thing to Ferguson we’ve seen in terms of fire , standards, and zero tolerance for egos. Fergie sold Beckham, Keane, Van Nistelrooy. He’d have done worse to Rashford and some of these players in this time. Fans begged for a disciplinarian for years, and now that we finally have one, people cry? That’s not a boss trying to be the boss. That’s a boss acting like one.

🚨 | To some who know Sir Jim Ratcliffe, Michael Carrick’s personality does NOT align with what he would typically go for. Ratcliffe is drawn to “alpha” characters, hence his initial fondness for Ruben Amorim, a man who fought fire with fire. [@lauriewhitwell/@TheAthleticFC]

The 'Why is Amorim subbing off defenders'? is beginning to get clear now. When you have injury prone, young and not good enough defenders, this is how you manage the situation when the club doesn't provide you with a solid defender. Amorim was actually doing us a favour.

@sniff_bobo @UtdMaI All Carrick did was put Carrington Seedorf back into the squad to please the fans. The rest did the job pressing City players as a team like they were taught under AMORIM. Look at the game vs Leeds now, do you see any buildup of play?

@UtdMaI Carrick didnt get one player thru that door n did exceptional n nw because of lack of key players Amorim didnt rate we lose a game arguably n nw Amorim sacking was a mistake. we go do well next few games what then? Imagine wen Carrick gets new players n plays like we did vs City

🚨🗣️ Wayne Rooney on Manchester United and the current manager situation; “Sacking Amorim was the first mistake. You don’t bring in a manager to rebuild a culture and then panic when results dip. Manchester United keep restarting the project every six months, that’s why nothing sticks. Now everyone wants Carrick permanently? Fine, but only if the club are actually ready to back him. Don’t give him the job just to sack him by November when pressure comes again. This club needs stability, not sentiment. If United want a serious long-term reset, Julian Nagelsmann is a top option …. modern, brave, elite tactically.”

@Spaddy_07 @giddy_fx At United, if you come from Carrington making 5-yard passes all of the game, jogging while your 34-year-old teammate run his ass off defending —> you’re a WORLD CLASS player

If you think Michael Carrick needs new and good signings then why were you against Ruben Amorim? I thought we were all looking for who to manage the squad we have? I don’t understand a lot of United fans. Amorim said the players were not good enough and that he needed new signings, y’all criticized him and got him sacked saying that he should manage what he has, why is Carrick not managing what he has? What changed?? Now your favourite interim coach needs new signings and you’re boldly admitting to that? That’s peak Hypocrisy ‼️

@UtdMaI They sacked him because he wants to build a foundation. They sacked Dan Ashworth before he even started building it. Then replaced him with Jason Wilcox, who was supposed to dictate what style the team play. Why do we need a world class manager when we already have Wilcox?

They didn’t sack Ruben Amorim because he failed. They sacked him because he asked for more. He wanted a midfielder. He questioned the hierarchy. He tried to fix the foundations instead of masking the cracks and that’s where his fate was sealed. After everything he’d already done: • Shifted the deadwood • Raised the standards • Started building an actual system For the first time in years, you could see where it was heading. But this club doesn’t do patience. It doesn’t back long-term projects. It panics at the first sign of discomfort. Short-term thinking. Quick fixes. Same cycle every two years. Some fans still don’t understand what a proper rebuild looks like. You don’t judge progress halfway through it. Now we’re soon reseting again… and when nothing changes, everyone will act surprised. Same mistakes. Different manager. Same story.

@giddy_fx Same thing will happen to the next manager: backing him in his first window, give him 2-3 new players and call it, bad results happen because old players can’t adapt, sack the manager because he expose the board. This club won’t get anything because we’re just a marketing company

‼️Some Manchester United fans are finally realizing we need players; this is the exact same thing Ruben Amorim said within his first five matches as Manchester United Coach. This man saw the problems in such a few time but it was so unfortunate the board and fans didn’t want him to go on with the philosophy he had for the problems because of ugly run of games. It was very simple; get him the prayers he needed and leave every other thing to him. I’m very patient, waiting for Ruben Amorim’s next club to prove Manchester United board and fans wrong.

@UtdMaI And that was why Amorim was sacked. INEOS just want a puppet to control. Once he crossed the line (challenging the power of the ‘manager’ Jason Wilcox), he was sacked. This board spent all the summer leaving the midfield empty and expected us to be tittle contenders

Amorim and Carrick were given completely different jobs. Amorim came in to rebuild the football club… implement a style, reset bad habits, give United an actual identity again. That always costs points early on. Carrick? He’s here for six months with one mission: get top four. No philosophy overhaul. No long-term project. Just maximise results. Short-term coaching means to squeeze points however you can. Long-term coaching means to build something that lasts. That’s why Carrick can pick up more points with the same squad Amorim was trying to rewire. Amorim refused the easy route. No low block, no survival football, no quick fixes just to calm the table. He stuck to the process even when it hurt. Some fans watch the standings. Others watch the direction. And that’s where the divide is.

NEGATIVES ABOUT JULIAN NAGELSMANN BALL. • Julian Nagelsmann is regarded as an “elite” manager but elite managers don’t get sacked mid season. • Nagelsmann was sacked by Bayern Munich mid season for loosing the dressing room, and not being in alignment with the board. • At United, we praise coaches for not being a puppet but in reality, the board direction and employer must be in alignment for there to be progress or they’ll be a fallout or sacking. • He has capability to fallout with the board and that destroys progress and development of the project / “rebuild” • He gets too tactical, he is innovative and less simplified. • He can get Undermined in the dressing room. • In his cause to play an unpredictable football, he over complicates things and his team falls apart, (Hopefully he is a different person and has gained experience coaching Germany)

@Cantonadevils A “Kroos style” player are rare to find. Wharton and Stiller can take the role but they need time to develop their passing range. Kobbie cannot play in that deep position because he can’t make a fast or long pass. We will end up in the same Mainoo situation like Amorim was.

Image showing how Nagelsmann team looks playing his 4-2–3-1 style ; • In possession & • Out of possession • In possession of the ball; his “4-2-3-1”becomes a “3-1-5-1” in attacking shape. This system will favor Cunha, Bruno & Mbeumo cause in possession of the ball. Cunha & Mbeumo becomes two 10s attacking the spaces. The three 10s of Cunha, Bruno and Mbeumo can switch roles on who attack spaces and who create thereby reducing the load of chance creation dependency on Bruno. And the fullbacks ( Luke Shaw and Dalot ) pushing up to stretch the play and wiping in crosses to Sesko. Kobbie Mainoo can be the one dropping deep (just like kroos in the picture) picking up the ball from the defenders and progressing it.

Julian Nagelsmann ball Players don’t stay fixed, Full-backs become midfielders, Wingers move inside, strikers drift wide which makes his teams; Hard to mark and Unpredictable. His principles are quite similar to Luis Enrique in which any player can pop up in different positions to make a play. In some games he might: • Start with a 4-2-3-1 • Switch to 3-4-2-1 mid-game • Change pressing intensity depending on opponent. The only downside of his system or style of play is that it can be overcomplicated, defensive instability and needs technically smart players to execute. ( Manchester United players are too dumb to handle technical coaches and cry and let down coaches/sack them when they are technical )

Amorim drew against Leeds United at Elland Road without Bruno, Amad, Mbeumo, Maguire, Nous and Bruno again and everyone wanted Amorim's head.. Carrick had majority of these guys around after a 4 week break and still lost to Leeds at Old Trafford. This is what you're justifying?

INEOS look like they sacked Amorim without a real plan in place. You don’t pull that trigger unless you already know exactly what comes next and clearly, they didn’t. Three weeks to land on an interim? That alone tells you this wasn’t properly thought through. Now it feels like they’re gambling on Carrick. Just sit back, see how the season plays out, and then decide? That’s not strategy that’s hesitation. And here’s the bigger issue: Amorim shouldn’t have been sacked in the first place. You brought him in to build something, implement a system, and reset the club’s identity. That takes time. Pulling the plug early just resets the chaos all over again. If the decision was truly planned, a permanent manager would already be in place for next season even if it was Carrick. At the very least, he’d have been given clarity and backing by now. Instead, nothing is concrete. No direction, no conviction just waiting to see what happens, like a gambler watching the odds before placing a bet. That’s not how serious clubs operate
