@IllerBitsk @Rothmus I learned the hard way. I’m almost finished with my PhD and was a purist. Pure analytical models or atleast deterministic equations But now I know the real word. It is messy. It requires statistics and modeling like stochastic calculus or SDEs. That is useful for making money.

@redeem314 @Rothmus Exactly. People insisting in staying with the pure, abstract math will not do well, but those combining the skills with something applicable on the job market will generally do very well. Especially since so many people are scared of the math part.
