This is why modern AAA gaming is so fucking shit. Far, far cleverer people already created a superb way of displaying an alien weapon's ammo count, and the short bus riders who took over have such low IQs that they can't even understand what made the series great, let alone improve on it. I couldn't think of a better way to explain the downfall of modern AAA gaming than this image.
