Comments like this sound deranged to anyone outside of the artist sphere. The audience that watches Pixar movies do not care that the hair gets misplaced for 3 frames.

@andrewpprice @_LucasRizzotto I’d say youtube videos, from the scrappiest to the more elaborate, are still clearly created by people so they have inherent value even if they’re made with zero dollars. But maybe I’m too optimistic and general audiences won’t care or tell the difference, and that’s depressing.

People correctly learned to crap on directionless desaturation and muted palettes in blockbusters but the consequence is that they now think intentional, artistically driven desaturation in service to mood/tone (like in the Yates Harry Potter movies) is automatically bad
