@Hitchslap1 By the way, SSRIs caused me post SSRI syndrome, and now I have permanent erectile dysfunction, plus many more symptoms permanently...

I just watched a video about asbestos. So basically everything it's a danger... Lead paint; asbestos roofs, make up, powder talc, pfas, vegetable oil, added sugar... Even If I went to nature, I could still find many dangerous chemicals. So what should I do, just enclose myself in a farm? Hoping that the few materials to which I have contact, are risk free??? I rather just end it, and go to the afterlife. Unfortunately there isn't one, so I'll continue playing, untill I'm destroyed by chemicals or something else...

@nullbotto I meant, you are not* normal? How do you know you are not normal, when it comes to that issue? Sorry for the confusion

If I where to choose to remove a symptom I have of Post SSRI Syndrome, I think I would choose to remove the brain fog/aphantasia. It really is terrible. I can't express myself clearly. I can't visualize in my mind. I can't correctly plan ahead in my mind. I can't think comfortly. I can do mental math as good as I used to. I could deal better with the other symptoms, but the brainfog, really hits you in functionality, emotionally, reliability, etc.

I CAN'T THINK TOO MUCH AHEAD. I've lost that ability after taking some few doses of an SSRI!!! Who else have this same symptom? Aphantasia/brainfog

Regarding the hypothesis of high serotonin in Post SSRI Syndrome: When I was on SSRIs I could stare at people's eyes without issue. In assume it has to do with high serotonin. Now, without SSRIs and with Post SSRI Syndrome, I can't do that anymore. How could that be fit with the high serotonin hypothesis? #PSSD

1. What would the stool test show? For what would it work? 2. I kind of already do that. 3. I kind of already do that also. I have to go to work everyday. 4. I kind of already do that. I eat a lot of yoghurt. I am afraid of Kefir and Kombucha, because I've read people crashing with those. I've read many protocols people try, not one seems to treat Post SSRI syndrome. It seems to be a more in depth damage. I've tried many things also, and 0 percent variation in symptoms, since I got this. Nothing seems to move the switch (root cause) apart from the SSRI (in my experience)

Here's a list based on the gut + nervous system ideas: 1. Get a DNA/NGS stool test (e.g. Viome or similar) to map your biome imbalances. 2. Zero fast food/processed items - treat as non-negotiable; whole foods only. 3. Morning sunlight: 15-30 min eyes/skin exposure right after waking (no sunglasses/sunscreen) for photobiomodulation & circadian reset per Kruse approach. 4. Support both systems: add fermented foods (if tolerated), prebiotic fibers, plus daily deep breathing/walks for gut-brain axis. Emerging research links SSRI-induced dysbiosis to PSSD symptoms; these are low-risk starting points. Track for 4-6 weeks.

Please give me a list of what should I do. I've been very proactive with this topic, mainly with activism. I'm of course interested in any advance. I'll do it, if it sounds reasonable, and doesn't have significant risk. @grok please give me a list of things I should try, based on her ideas.

@redpavement Your biome is everything. The antidepressants decimate the gut. I could make lists and lists for you some as simple as morning sunlight for photobiomodulation a la Jack Kruse, & I will if you want but I feel like I’m wasting my breath because you’ll tell me you can’t heal. 3/3

@zkrolled To be honest, there isn't much info still. Trying to treat Post SSRI Syndrome now, it's like trying to build a car, from 0, with 1% knowledge

From a sample of 20 recent and top replies to Senator Murray's post, all 19 substantive ones (excluding your question) oppose her stance. They cite SSRI risks to fetuses (e.g., malformations, withdrawal worse than opioids), question safety claims, accuse pharma ties, or back the nominee's nuance. No supportive replies appeared even when filtering for positive keywords. Estimate: 90-100% against her position.

Millions of moms struggle with depression during their pregnancy. America deserves a Surgeon General who can state plainly that SSRIs are SAFE for the majority of pregnant women. We don't need more junk science charlatans. I'm voting NO on Casey Means' confirmation.
Aaron Rupar@atrupar

MURRAY: Do you believe SSRIs are dangerous for pregnant women? TRUMP SURGEON GENERAL NOMINEE CASEY MEANS: Every medication has risks and benefits and you need to have a nuanced conversation with your doctor MURRAY: Strong evidence shows they're safe

@Comfortabl16095 I can barely do it. My English is not very good. And thats not because I'm Mexican, because even my Spanish is not very good now. I frequently put words in different order, or have hard time explaining things. But yeah I get your point, I can at least express myself.

I frequently wonder.. is my thinking process very dysfunctional to the point, I'm not aware of many things? Or is just an illusion made by the fact that I can't imagine (brainfog/aphantasia), due to damage, caused by SSRIs?

@redpavement I’ve given you suggestions. And somebody earlier told you to look into gut healing. Gut healing is a lot more than not eating junk food (which is sounds like you still do). Healing your body is not experimentation.

@iatrogenic_harm What suggestions? I won't experiment. I have a healthy enough lifestyle, I don't consume drugs nor alcohol, nor smoke, nor fast food (sometimes I do, but rare)

@redpavement you’re not gonna like what I have to say. the mindset that you have is keeping you stuck. It makes sense, the drugs do that to us, the trauma of all of this does that to us. But people have given you good suggestions on where to start and you just say I guess I’ll never recover.
