@ChadAHolloway All the people in the know in Texas knew these clubs would be shut down, the state government hates them along with a lot of the public. Doug and crew got taken for a ride when they bought the club, the previous owners knew they would ultimately get shut down that’s why they sold

I have read Search and Seizure Warrant against The Lodge in full, and it does appear to be a witch hunt. Essentially, they're deeming poker in TX illegal and therefore classifying what we'd consider normal banking transactions as money laundering because it's proceeds from what they say is illegal gambling. All the undercover operations outlined in the affidavit describe a normally functioning, well-run poker room. To me, nothing in it suggests what we in the poker world would consider scandalous/nefarious, but rather authorities simply taking a stance on the grey area/loophole that they consider illegal. Did you know the government will pay you $10,000+ per student to run a trade school? You don't write the courses. Just buy 'em from someone else for $500. You don't need a campus. Online works great. You don't need to be a tradesperson or know the lingo. You just connect the dots. My neighbor scaled to $2.4M his first year with almost nothing in marketing. He just walked into churches and said "anyone want to go to school for free?" There's one masonry school in all of Arizona. One appliance repair school in all of DFW. The demand for trades is so far ahead of supply it's almost embarrassing. And if you already own a business? You can get paid to train your own employees through this same grant. I didn’t see it. He looked good not dominant and the knee issues were there, but the game had the mindset “you need a big man to win” Oden looked stiff. I had the opportunity to ask Lenny Wilkins was he upset at having the #2 pick and he said no because the pressure was on Portland to get it right in a two person draft.

No one in any era has averaged more than 37ppg besides Wilt. That’s every single era in the history of basketball. Also post Jordan we have had some high volume/high efficiency killers and they aren’t touching 40. So no Jordan would not average 50 or 40.

The whole Bam Adebayo conversation is wild to me. He was awesome on Tuesday. Dude dropped 60+ in the first 3 quarters. Basically all of the 70+ games in NBA history have some shenanigans at the end. Think we should probably just respect the greatness versus question it.

Yes AJ is talented. But honesty I think he is the best superstar TEAMMATE I think I’ve ever seen in college. So many kids of this caliber would just coast through college till the NBA. This dude is playing 40 a night. Hyping up all his teammates. Breathing confidence into them. Yes he is a superstar talent. But he is a superstar person and teammate

And he’s actually carrying a team the way Danny Manyy and Carmelo Anthony did. A super talented freshman should be able to bring up a lesser talented team. Something that recent top tier freshman didn’t do. He is the clear cut #1 pick based off talent, upside, intangibles and what he’s doing on the court!!
