My channel “Cam Watch” was demonetized on April 17 for “inauthentic content,” and YouTube is now withholding over $1,000+ in AdSense revenue from me. This revenue represents months of hard work and thousands of dollars personally invested into the tools, software, and production process behind my videos.

I’ve spent over a year investing countless hours and money into building this channel, now with 30K+ subscribers and a loyal audience that consistently engages with my content. In a single moment, without warning or clear explanation, that progress and stability were taken away.
The reason?
YouTube is essentially claiming that my content is mass-produced, low-effort slop… when in reality, I spend weeks creating each video and am always striving to post high-quality, engaging content.
I want to clearly state:
My content is NOT mass-produced.
My content is NOT reused
My content is NOT automated spam.
My content has NO Repetition. Every video has different set of people(police, suspect, investigator etc.), location, time, date, case history, There is not even a single overlap amongst any video.
On Cam Watch, I spend days and weeks creating each video. We had to conduct research and gather information over the course of several days while writing original stories and providing new educational and narrative value in every project.
Every single video on my channel is built through a highly manual, labor-intensive documentary process.
Here’s how my content is actually created:
👉 Manually review court documents, police reports, news articles, and criminal case filings from across the United States.
👉 We individually identify cases worth covering and then submit FOIA/open-record requests to police departments, sheriff offices, marshals, and government agencies.
👉 We communicate directly with agencies, follow up on requests, sign legal agreements, pay processing fees, and wait for approvals before receiving footage.
👉 All obtained footage is legally acquired under my own name and documented under official ticket/request systems.
👉 We then manually review, organize, and transcribe large volumes of footage using subtitle-editing workflows.
👉 Every video is uniquely scripted and structured around a completely different criminal case. No story can simply be “reused” in another upload.
👉 Narration is added manually and edited heavily throughout the process. AI voice helps creates voice-over, and the storytelling, scripting, editing, pacing, and production are all created and directed by humans.
👉 Videos are extensively edited in Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects using motion graphics, sound design, subtitles, transitions, blurring, filtering, and compliance edits.
👉 Descriptions are legally reviewed by legal team.
A small video can take multiple days of editing work alone — not including research, records acquisition, scripting, and review.
This is educational documentary content built through extensive human involvement and investigative work.
From the very beginning, we have taken YouTube’s policies seriously and worked carefully to follow them.
I tried my level best to contact @youtube but the responses they gave me were generic. I’m seeking a human review and a thorough, meaningful look at my channel. However, they have only responded by sending generic guidelines and re-stating policies that I am confident I am not violating.

I can only assume that my channel was demonetized due to automated systems that simply do not understand my channel or the way I am using AI. I believe that if a human took just a couple of minutes to look, they would recognize that I am not violating this policy.
