It's a really special and unique feeling to use something you've made while millions do the same. I still remember picking that “knock-knock” sound for the Shop app push notifications - it’s probably played billions of times by now.
I'm having a lot of fun trying to do it again with Boom (getboom.app) while staying small and getting profitable. No big company or VC backing, going indie path. Follow along on the journey.
