@FortPointer Radio Shack's Boston roots are probably why I had a soft spot for this company and covered the last days of disco there even though they were no longer based here. Also, a Boston attorney represented many of the franchisees during the bankruptcy.

Trivia: Radio Shack was founded in Boston in 1921 at 46 Brattle Street (1694-1962), where City Hall Plaza exists today.
