@Minou1Lina @jamesgwilson @UCLPhilosophy Chapter 2: “Relationships were a casualty when pandemic ethics & everyday clinical ethics collided” @cabr88 @lucy_frith @SFovargue @achiumento argues healthcare professionals lacked structured ethical support in managing the pandemic’s public health/clinical ethics tensions.

News: “Governance, Democracy and Ethics in Crisis Decision-making: the pandemic and beyond”, the book I edited @stsucl @PandemicEthics_ with @cabr88, is now available OA from @ManchesterUP (a thread on its content): manchesteruniversitypress.co.uk/9781526180049/…

Discovered by chance yesterday that my first academic article (with the @resetethics1 team) gets a mention in the latest edition of Mason & McCall Smith's Law and Medical Ethics textbook. Still new enough to academia to find this really exciting! doi.org/10.1093/medlaw…

Thanks to @khazaezadeh for chairing the presentations throughout the day as well. Really interesting insight into the breadth of research within the @PIVOTAL_Collab. Thanks again to Soo Downe for bringing us together and to @Silverio_SA_ and @ResearchDoula for organising the day

Really excited to be at the @RoySocMed today for the @PIVOTAL_Collab event. Looking forward to hearing more about the work that has been done over the past few years, and to sharing some reflections about unintended consequences in the context of COVID policies + vaginal exams.

Such an interesting event. Was v pleased to present the @PIVOTAL_Collab synthesis of recommendations - thanks to @Silverio_SA_, @ResearchDoula and Soo Downe for the invitation. Great to put the @resetethics1 findings into that broader context
