A first for me and @AnnBishopRowe today - a HST from Reddish South to Denton twice on the “Retro Norfolk Broadsman”! The routing meant the outward and return routes were the same way; were Ann and I the first people ever to do Reddish South to Denton on a HST twice in a day? 🤔

I’ve just had a message from the Retired Railway Officers Society that Gordon Pettitt has passed away on the 31st March. He was 90. Simply devastating news.

Can someone at @networkrail explain to my why a charter train is currently more important than everyone stranded on trains outside Peterborough. Absolute disregard for all the @LNER passengers
