🇺🇸Trump: The Save America Act is so important. “It’s so good. It’s voter ID, it’s, you know, the basics of a democracy: voter ID, birthplace.”

Jessica Chastain says Apple will finally release her new political thriller series ‘THE SAVANT’ this year. • Originally was going to premiere in September 2025 but was postponed after the assassination of Charlie Kirk. • The series follows an undercover investigator who infiltrates hate groups online to detect & prevent domestic extremists before they act. A video is going viral of President Obama and Mayor Mamdani singing wheels on the bus with kids in a NYC school. There is literally not one person alive in the entire Republican Party who measures up to either of these two people.

What movie scene do you constantly rewind and rewatch?

🇮🇷🇺🇸 Iran just drew a line in the sand on the ceasefire clock. Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ismail Baqaei confirmed there are zero talks about extending the current truce, which expires around April 22. Tehran's position is clear: no more temporary pauses, only a permanent deal that delivers real concessions, sanctions relief, recognition of Iran's nuclear rights, and an end to the U.S. naval blockade. Meanwhile, the U.S. is doing the opposite. Trump keeps claiming a deal is "very close" while keeping maximum pressure on, insisting the blockade stays until a full agreement is locked in. Pakistan is the only channel both sides still trust. A second round of indirect talks in Islamabad is possible this weekend, but nothing is confirmed. 3 things to watch as April 22 approaches: -Whether Pakistan quietly brokers a short extension to buy time. -Whether Iran follows through on threats to disrupt Hormuz if the blockade holds. -Whether Trump's "very close" optimism is real or just negotiating theater.

A useful way to think about migration is to consider what kind of societies the migrants have built in their home countries and to what extent you would like those conditions replicated here.

I have heard it said, “God didn’t die for frogs. He died for humans, implying we were worth the sacrifice.” This turns grace on its head. We are less deserving than frogs. They have not sinned. They have not rebelled and treated God with the contempt of being inconsequential in their lives. God did not have to die for frogs. They aren’t bad enough. We are. Our debt is so great, only a divine sacrifice could pay it.

The Pope removed his shoes in a mosque and people are outraged? That’s not compromise. That’s basic respect. If you enter someone’s home or sacred space, you honor their customs. We expect it in our churches. Why pretend not to understand it anywhere else?
