What Trump is doing to the entire country/world is what private equity has already done to multiple businesses while helping destroy healthcare. More of this insanity is coming. #singlepayer #BLM #democracy

The only thing more intense than MAGAs love for Trump is their disgust and hatred for people of color.

.@NYCMayor may be facing an indictment now, but he lost our trust long before when he fought to take #Medicare away from @NYCRetirees. Yesterday, we stood up to Adams and @Aetna CVS Health. We made it clear that we won’t allow profit-driven Medicare (dis)Advantage plans to replace the healthcare our retirees deserve. Here are some photos from the day! #ReclaimMedicare

How much would making Medicare (Dis)Advantage the default option for Medicare beneficiaries waste? $2 trillion over 10 years. Yet this is what #Project2025 wants to do.

Black people in this country do not get to choose their race. The one drop rule says you will always be black no matter what other races are in your ancestory. Period. The media needs to expose how ignorant on history Trump is again. #BLM #PNHP #singlepayer

If Biden should take a cognitive test to assure us he thinks clearly and thoughtfully, Trump should take a psychiatric test to assure that he also thinks clearly and thoughtfully. Mental illness and cognitive impairment both interfere with being president. #PNHP #BLM #singlepayer

If we look back at when Citizens United was approved by the Supreme Court that was the turning point when wealthy people started openly buying our govt. What is happening now was likely part of the original plan. #PNHP #BLM #singlepayer

I am so disgusted at how the liberal media keeps talking about how this country has always been so equal, fair. And that No one is above the law. It’s never ever been equal or fair. We need to quit pretending. That is what whites built and mislabeled as democracy. #BLM #PNHP

@GunnelsWarren PHARMA have never spent a lot on research. The NIH does the research and then companies patent the drug and make the money. More money is then spent on lawyers keeping the drugs on patent so a generic can’t be made. #PNHP #singlepayer #BLM

The makers of the 10 prescription drugs selected for Medicare price negotiation spent $22 billion more on stock buybacks, dividends, executive compensation & advertising in 2022 than they did on research and development. That's why Wall Street is thankful for high drug prices.

@carolmswain @ibramxk Look at the history of this country and how FDRs bills, the GI bill, the homestead acts, Mortgage policies and redlining, etc. There was never equality in these. This country has never ever embraced equality #BLM #PNHP

I beg to differ. DEI is not the same as the diversity efforts that followed the passage of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, the 1965 Voting Rights Act, and the 1968 Open Housing Act. These legislative efforts made us equal under the law and comported with the 14th Amendment’s Equal Protection Clause. DEI is affirmative action on steroids and it violates our Civil Rights Laws and U.S. Constitution. We should be pursuing nondiscrimination, equal opportunity, and integration, not divisive and morally bankrupt diversity, equity, and inclusion programs that take our nation backwards while lining the pockets of race hustlers. #DEI #Ibramxkendi

When programs and offices for what’s now called diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) started to be created in the 1960s and 1970s, do you know what group opposed them the most? Jim Crow segregationists. Do you what Jim Crow segregationists renamed efforts toward diversity, equity, and inclusion? Discrimination. Racism. Times have changed, the racist playbook remains the same.

If anyone doesn’t understand the role of money on what can be taught not only in public education but also in prestigious higher education institutions is not paying attention. We must rebuild the half ass democracy we had to one that totally includes everyone. #BLM #PNHP

Ensuring Medicare for All is a matter of prioritizing people over profit. The insurance industry's influence is a roadblock to a system that works, but grassroots movements can and will pave the way!
