Some folks say that the Babcock to Edmonton is at best clickbait and at worst ragebait. I get it. I would agree except the most connected Oilers insider, Stauffer, has brought it up and defended it. Small chance it happens, yes. But I will suggest there is a real chance.

Step 1 of a good offseason was removing Knoblauch. Another good step this offseason will be moving on from Nurse. Nurse for Lafreniere would be my target.

Imagine the Oilers blueline if Bowman didn't have an itchy trigger-finger and the Oilers could find a way to move Nurse (eating whatever necesaary) this summer. Kulak - Bouchard Ekholm - Murphy Walman - Emberson Lots of flexibility and skillset

@rhpiano Jarry is untradeable and you can't buy him out. He has 4 months to at least get his fat ass into shape and try to resurrect his career. Fans better get used to him being here next year.

@thewiz0915 It was a year of full injuries.. coach and gm should have a full offseason and see what next year brings

At no point this year did we play like a contending team for any stretch of time. Fully expected and well deserved. Knob will get canned, maybe Bowman as well and we start again next October with a full tank of gas. Exeunt.... #LetsGoOilers

@rhpiano @EdmontonOilers Something has been off with this team since game 5 finals last year. Both stars called out coaching this year. Coffey had to come back to salvage season. Sorry I don't believe in coincidence. Knoblauch is a problem.
