Removing professional rugby from this entire area (quite literally the Valleys, which was always the hotbed of Welsh rugby) is insane behaviour. Do they really expect West Glamorgan people to adopt a new team based in Llanelli or Cardiff when Mid Glamorgan didn't back in 2003?

@thepaulwilliams Can you see how the first of those examples is asking people to support a meek brand like "west Wales" just because they live there and the second is people supporting a strong brand regardless of location? It's undoing your own point.

Welsh rugby in a nutshell. "Absolutely no way I'd support a West Wales Ospreys/ Scarlets merger. I'd rather set fire to my kids and kill everyone at the Welsh Rugby Union". -What soccer team do you support? "Tottenham Hotspur, in north London" 👍👍👍👍👍

@jtov10 Warburton almost never featured. He was a Team Wales player who carries out a few warmup games for Cardiff.

Can think of a lot more people that half put more into the regions then half these guys.
