A statement from Roger: "Today, I am formally announcing my decision to step down as Deputy Group Leader for Reform UK at Cornwall Council and relinquish my membership effective immediately. I will be joining the Restore Britain Party, under the leadership of Rupert Lowe, in response to feedback from my constituents and a commitment to uphold my principles. Since my candidacy for Reform UK in the last General Election, there have been significant changes within the party. The similarities between the Tory manifesto and Reform UK policies have increased, while my own position remains unchanged. Restore Britain has emerged in response to Reform UK's shift in direction and its selection of candidates. Many members have observed that corporate decisions have negatively impacted Reform UK in Cornwall by overlooking the county’s distinct political demographic and causing disengagement among members. Branches have been dismantled, and unelected interim officers appointed, leading to concerns about representation and effectiveness. Concerns raised by members, activists, and group leaders have not been adequately addressed. Volunteer County Organisers operate without consulting elected Reform Councillors and, in many cases, have interfered with Council business, resulting in the disillusionment and departure of members. Head Office is aware of ongoing challenges regarding regional director and national director but has not effected change. Reform UK has not demonstrated a commitment to allowing talent to rise on merit and continues to recruit politicians from other parties. The same parties that have failed the people of this country over the past 20 years. Consequently, I am withdrawing my application to stand as a parliamentary candidate for Reform UK, as this no longer aligns with my values. My primary focus remains on serving the residents of Redruth North, ensuring their views are represented, and promoting accountability and transparency as County Councillor. I look forward to collaborating with Rupert Lowe and Restore Britain to support Cornwall and our nation moving forward."

We should not be compelled to say things that simply aren’t true. And we must not. If a grown man wants to wear a dress and believe he is a woman? That is not my business. He can do as he pleases, but do not expect the rest of us to warp reality to suit a personal belief. A man is not a woman - no matter how sincerely he believes otherwise. That’s just a fact. There are men and there are women. End of story. This is particularly pertinent in sport. Men have a clear and proven physical advantage. To allow them to compete against women is cruel. What individual takes any satisfaction from winning on such an uneven playing field? Women-only spaces must remain for women. No exceptions. No debate. Women only. Privacy, dignity, and safety - all of that trumps ideology. The woke policing of language, in healthcare particularly, must end. Women get pregnant. Men do not. Men have a penis. Women do not. 'Chestfeeding', 'people who have ovaries', 'birthing people' - put it all in the bin. Crucially, we must keep this poison away from impressionable young boys and girls - forensically remove it from the classroom and any educational setting. Today’s decision is an important moment. But it is only the first step on a long path back to some normality. We now need firm and unapologetic action to remove men from women’s sport and spaces, and restore the principle that reality is not up for any negotiation.

Today is Monday, 18th May, 2026, and the Circuit Court 9 Judge has still not released his Order remanding Abronye into BNI custody. He delivered his ruling in open court on Wednesday, 13th May, 2026 and made the consequential Orders. Citizens are not to complain or criticise the court. If they do, they risk contempt or referral to the General Legal Council for disciplinary action. Abronye has been remanded into BNI custody by the Circuit Court 9 Judge until the final determination of the criminal charges brought against him by the Police. In the 999 call played in court, Digwa's brother said: "We just been attacked by someone racially. “We just got attacked racially by some white person.” He added: “Physically attacked my brother we're Sikhs, we wear turbans, and he attacked my brother." A video was shown to the jury of Mr Nowak scrambling over a fence to escape Digwa after the prosecution alleges he was stabbed. Jurors have now been shown two more videos taken in the aftermath of this. In the video Digwa and his brother accuse Mr Nowak of racially and verbally attacking Digwa. Mr Nowak can be heard denying these claims. Digwa was heard saying: "No one stabbed you bro you’re... up. You’re drunk." A second video played to the court, Digwa's father can be heard saying: "He’s pretending, a minute ago he was talking to you guys. "Now he’s trying to get up and going to leave." Throughout the second video Mr Nowak can be seen lying on the floor as Digwa's family and neighbours tell him to sit up.
