@PBalban Just purchased a bike in gib (a Brompton !) for my commute as a frontier worker. Was told I could benefit from a £200 C2W incentive. But then was told it’s for residents only. That doesn’t help getting people over the border wanting to cycle in gib either.

It needs a serious & concerted effort from policy makers to change the mindset & will of residents to want to cycle, even in cold climates. It’s far more than just building a stretch of bicycle lane, it’s laws, incentives, policy & wanting to effect change in your city #gibraltar

@PBalban @RGPolice @cortes_john My guess, it’s not enforceable for cyclists as point 44 of the Traffic Act (in regard to speed) states ‘motor vehicle’?

Although this is fine for most e-bikes & e-scooters that have speedometers, how does a cyclist know how fast they are cycling without a speedometer? 15km/h is roughly 3 times walking speed. Is this speed limit sign enforceable or is it an advisory sign?? @RGPolice #gibraltar
