@stanzillaz yeah totally, that stuff is even more obvious, hard to build a real platform on top of shaky ground. The CDM stuff is “slightly” more gray area (I think?) because blizz hasn’t commented much on wanting to lock it down, but it’s a logical conclusion that they will do it.

personal addendum: I also don't want to deal with all the exploits and loopholes. If we were to bring back more WA features, people would demand feature parity with other addons that do.

@filpizlo @tmikov 90% of the value could be gained by just replacing the react-in-terminal front end with literally anything else. Used it (ink) years ago in the past, and immediately realized it was junk and a bad idea, watching my Claude instance jitter and reflow over and over right now)

@BlizzardCS My account was hacked and email changed! Ticket US108165186 . I have an authenticator attached to the account, and have spent at least $1000 in the last few years on the account. I got an SMS verification code and an email change notif that I never asked for. Help!

@d00mwake need a real judge and not a guy who read the rules doc, but can’t you chose yourself 0, 1, or 2? 603.7b implies that since the attacks occur simultaneously, controller gets to chose the triggering event for each trigger.

JUDGE! If I have a Firebender Ascension and 2 Hired Claw and attack with both, how many counters do I get on the Ascension?

@GoldenHorncall @d00mwake is this 603.7b? implies that controller chooses the event that causes the trigger, so you just decide that each attacking hired claw triggers it’s own triggered ability (or you could decide that they trigger each other’s ability which would not trigger the ascension)

@d00mwake how can the game know if the claws are triggering because they are attacking (ascension trigger) or because another lizard is attacking (no ascension trigger)? I don’t actually know

If you’ve been holding back, now is the time to speak out and call out anyone supporting or celebrating genocide. It won’t cost you much—in fact, it will earn you respect, and more importantly a clear conscious. Plus, alienating those who will hate you for speaking is a feature, not a bug.

@xerwo certainly true because they tend to clamp down on them pretty fast (probably because of botting not for competitive integrity IMO), but without specific guidance from blizz there is a lot of grey area to happily swim through between a data leak and a full-on unlocker

@rickbutton A lua unlock is very different from the aforementioned stuff tho.

sneak.lua was an ingame weakaura/addon. Everything it did was accessible within the WoW addon environment. Blizzard just forgot about mouseover debuff details. It has nothing to do with what you‘re implying. The delay was there so you wouldn‘t notice and copy it, which worked.😉

@xerwo variants of the cursor anchor’d frame tooltip trick still work even (at least on 11.2 PTR didn’t test live), 100% in my back pocket if I ever get annoyed by a private aura again in my casual 6hr/wk CE guild. I’ll gladly pull that out if they make me deal with another nelth map

@xerwo otherwise if I was a dev working with a race team I’d look at their lax approach to in game data isolation/prevention and reasonably conclude that I should find a new lua unlocker and start calling all kinds of secure code because why not!
