Send all your lands to the graveyard then you stack it with stuff that lets you play multiple lands a turn like Locked hot house or exploration and bam they are back out asap

@Sierkovitz I've been really hoping that's it, and I guess the Marvel set will have our answers. I've learned to accept the UBs that fall on the fatnasy side of things, but contemporary real world is too much for me.

What if - hear me out - the issue with the recent small sets is not the set size, not the cards but US city is just an unappealing setting for a Magic expansion that somehow leads to amplification of characters as the only flavour? (plus anchovy banana, of course)

@NotGlidus I really really want to like it, because it’s such a fun idea/twist on the story. But the implications are just so huge, and I feel like it takes too much away from Maekar and the narrative as a whole. Plus it means no boot next season :(

initially i was lukewarm on the maekar change. but if it's a stepping stone to integrate him into future stories, i think they can make it work, and i hope they make the most of it! scene on its own is plenty of fun yippee what a great show

@asant33 @BloodnAmethyst Happens to a bunch of other characters, too. Arianne Martell's exclusion is basically unforgivable, and Lady Stoneheart is important both as an emotional payoff and commentary on the endlessness of violence at the end of book 3.

@BloodnAmethyst I haven’t read the books yet, but have ready several synopses; so forgive me for this question. I don’t understand how they completely write out a character like Young Griff for the show when he seems like a major piece to the story

I really hate the misconception that Game of Thrones was extremely accurate until they ran out of books, because then it leads to show-only people weighing in on book canon discussions and being wrong nearly 100% of the time.
