@ricksinger7070 @JonnyRoot_ How the fuck would he feel vindicated? Are you all there Rick? What legacy does that kid have? Besides for being a case study of how pride can ruin your life.

Rory McIlroy has been throwing shade at Bryson DeChambeau for years. He’s come across as a teacher’s pet since LIV started. Funny how he shames LIV players for not playing on Tour when we skips countless tournaments (11 this year) Get over yourself.

@WolfSprintSaint @JonnyRoot_ Right. Such a ridiculous comparison. There are over 40 tournaments to choose from. By the end of the season, Rory will pay in more tournaments than the LIV schedule.

Rory skipping tournaments and LIV players leaving the Tour are two completely different things. PGA guys have always managed their schedules, especially the bigger names. That’s not the same as jumping to a rival league throwing around Saudi money. And the “teacher’s pet” stuff is lazy. Rory was one of the few dudes actually willing to speak up while everybody else tried to play both sides. Bryson took the LIV money, which is fine, but people acting mad because Rory called it what it was need to get over it.

@VickVinegar007 @JonnyRoot_ Some players care more about legacy and competition than money. Nothing wrong with that. And given that LIV will probably fold within the next year, my guess is that Zalatoris feels vindicated.

@JonnyRoot_ If Rory didn’t get that 9 figure Nike deal early in his career.. he would’ve accepted the LIV offer also. He’s bitter about the easy money. Still can’t get over Will Zalatoris turning down $100million because of his pride. Imagine living life knowing what could have been.

@UsedGolfFacts @Thatll_Play @BenColeyGolf Tried something new & put more money into it than any profit-oriented investor would. There was never a way this would make money. Crazy upfront payments, way too high purses. And with that, virtually no ratings and a couple of successful events in places that have no pro golf.

@ricksinger7070 @Thatll_Play @BenColeyGolf I think they proved that LIV’s approach was not viable for the PIF. They did not prove that team golf or international golf were non-viable. The question is: did their billions of dollars of outlay create anything of value? Personally, I think the answer to that is “yes.”

The PGA Tour put all of their eggs in the “LIV is funded with blood money!” basket. It was a very effective narrative that the Mainstream Golf Media was happy to push. But if LIV finds an outside investor, what’s the argument against its place in professional golf going forward?
Flushing It@flushingitgolf

Bryson DeChambeau has been attending potential investor pitches/meetings with LIV Golf CEO Scott O’Neil and has been more involved with the business side of the league than he ever has in the past. “As long as LIV is here, I would figure out a way for it to make sense.”

@UsedGolfFacts @Thatll_Play @BenColeyGolf I think they all learned through LIV that it's not viable. The way LIV executed, with huge upfront payments and purses that were not justifiable, has probably scared serious investors away.

@Thatll_Play @BenColeyGolf There have been multiple groups of investors that have floated the idea of creating something similar to LIV over the last few decades. Whether you are able to see it or not, there are people that believe there’s some value in the concept of creating a league with team golf.

@peterjkostis There is no investor who will be willing to lose the millions or billions it takes to pay huge purses, crazy appearance contracts and an on-site buildout like the use now. If they continue, it will be a shell of what they are now. It's about math.

If, and it's a big if, LIV golf gets new funding and Saudi money is not involved, how do you think its detractors and the PGA Tour react? Does the anger and vitriol stay or go away?

The not-Chicago Bears? Today the Bears released a statement saying how excited they were for their “vision” of a taxpayer-funded stadium in Hammond, INDIANA. Umm…nope. If you can’t afford to keep the team in Chicago, sell it. Period.

Trump's continued obsession with Biden is bizarre. It would be helpful if he used true facts if he really wants to compare but why do that when making stuff up makes him look better?

@Riley_Gaines_ It's treasonous to wave another country's flag? Do you understand what treason actually is or do you just toss that out against anyone you don't like or doesn't conform to you way of thinking? In case you need help, this is not treason or even anywhere close.

2025 was a phenomenal year for the country: 4.3% GDP, inflation down to mid 2’s, a record yearly collapse in violent crime, including murders down 20%!, the most secure border EVER, & record stock prices. Truly one of best years in US history. And 2026 will be even better. LFG!

Why is independent reporter Nick Shirley the only one digging into the fraud in Minnesota? Where’s 60 Minutes? ABC News? NBC News? CBS? CNN? Fox News? MSNBC? The New York Times? Washington Post? Reuters? Associated Press? Time Magazine? The Atlantic? Politico? NPR? PBS? Don Lemon?

@mc_chase @MadBeachMafia @luxcompute @KatieMiller So not true. There are bad lawyers, businessmen, doctors, cops and on and on. In general, NFPs are hard working organizations doing good in the world. Using a few bad ones to make them all look bad is a major disservice to people who are trying to make the world better.

@jobro1969 @luxcompute @KatieMiller No. Smart donors know how much the CEO makes and decides if the job they do is worth it. That's what's important....does the organization deliver results. Would you rather pay a lot less and get worse results? Often that's your choice.

@luxcompute @KatieMiller This is why I don’t give to charity anymore - what’s the justification for paying this CEO that much money? I betcha your average donor doesn’t know this figure, & that they’d be mortified to know that their donation has gone not to the needy but to this giant salary.

@JosiahInsights @luxcompute @KatieMiller Shouldn't you judge the charity on how effective it is rather than how much the CEO gets paid? If a CEO is impactful in changing lives for the better, who cares how much they get paid?

@luxcompute @KatieMiller So there aren’t any willing and qualified candidates who can do the job for a reasonable salary??? I hardly doubt that. If this NP is paying the CEO over a million a year, then I seriously question where all this money is going.

I hear what you’re saying. But I know the nonprofit industry reasonably well, and these gigs are frequently political rewards to unqualified people. Kind of like letting your wife run her shop on Main Street at a loss. A truly accomplished executive would never be seen accepting that kind of pay as head of a non profit.
