@Meer_AIIT This is so great. I’m using it to set the tone in a few new chat threads. That last line about user self sufficiency comes through, it just gets out of the bloody way and lets you think and act
English

@Meer_AIIT @NikosinJunior This. It’s actually night and day. So good
English

@NikosinJunior You should try it first and then see the results.

You can just make things! I made this lil' 'Magic Lists' app for my #Navidrome server.
"A FastAPI web application that integrates with Navidrome to create AI-powered playlists from your music library."

@kuaroo_ @TheCinesthetic I imagined in 10 years they bring out “Top Gun: Rooster”… Rooster leads a carrier squadron, has an impossible mission, has to get an old Mav back from retirement, and channel the ghosts of Goose and Iceman! Yes! I can feel the need for speed!
English

@TheCinesthetic When they re-release Top Gun: Maverick years from now, the NOSTALGIA will be INSANE!!! 🙌
English

@DesignResource_ @TheCinesthetic Oh it’s so epic isn’t it? Lieutenant Pete Mitchell. 80s. Danger. Iceman. I watched it with my cousins, all sat on our Dads’ knees. Love it
English

@nhallam Did you take that shot? Awesome opening scene or plot twist / vengeance scene from an action movie 🍿
English

@M_Zot_ike @TheAIColony Genuinely curious to understand what you mean here?
English

@TheAIColony Broski, if your goal is to just prompt it… it can give you the same results with a much shorter version… it’s just an instruction.
If you want novelty, you will need a better method. Something that forces the system.

Loving my ad supported experience in Google News today! This “ad collab” between Google News and @Broadsheet_Melb means I can read three whole words of the headline without clipping! So great! 🙃

English

@levelsio Yeah I noticed this. I came in hard like a people manager, told cursor to ‘watch it’ and stick to a few principles (eg keep database queries light, pull stuff apart in PHP), and things work a lot better now
English

I discovered Cursor made LOTS of duplicate functions while editing my functions, instead of using the one already existing to edit, it'd add a new one
In JS they just overwrite like variables, so there was no errors! Probably due to context window limits of Sonnet 3.5
Anyway, I asked ChatGPT to find all duplicate functions (made CMD+F function list)
Now it (obviously) works a lot better when asking Cursor to do something but I have to keep an eye out on duplicate functions!

@MikSkuza Also if you’re making a Winamp skin, the standard text display is “…it really whips the llama’s ass” or something, right? Haha

@jesseddy Jess! Keep posting on your site, and keep sharing it here! I love it, read it, and often share it with my team and the community.
I do know they tightened the screws on ghost and fake accounts, so there’s an expected reduction overall?

I keep losing followers on this platform, and I think many people are leaving, which is fair enough.

English

@nhallam Yeah but that’s not a bad thing… if your search is unobtrusive, easy to use and has the right details, that’s good, right?
