Weekend reset time! Skip the endless scroll and do something that actually fills your cup this weekend end.
Here are a few ideas to spark joy:
• Dance like nobody’s watching (bonus points if the music’s loud)
• Call or meet up with a friend for a long, real conversation
• Get outside — hike, bike, or just soak up sun in the park. Can you do something barefoot?
• Pick up that hobby you’ve been putting off (guitar, drawing, photography, whatever!)
• Visit a local market, museum, or bookstore. Take a child with you!
• Try a new workout, yoga flow, or stretch session
• Journal, meditate, or simply sit in silence with your thoughts
What’s one thing bringing you joy this weekend? Share to spark ideas for someone else!

@LisaNickelson4 I get it. I’ve been chronically ill for 20 years. I spend most of my day in bed. Try to focus on being grateful for the parts of your body that are functioning well. You can see, eat, move your arms, pee, poop, hear, breathe.

I had a terrible fibromyalgia flare and was miserable for 2 days.
After I felt sorry for myself, I felt incredibly grateful I don’t get them more frequently.
It’s been over a year since I had a flare.
It filled me with anxiety but it also made me let go of what I can’t control and know tomorrow is a better day.
And so far my prayers worked.
Sometimes you just need to clear the vessel.🫶♾️

If you’ve ever had to climb yourself out of something dark…depression, addiction, grief, whatever hell looked like for you…maybe in a room full of people who had no idea? Or, completely alone. I hope you know the version of you that made it through is someone worth loving deeply. That took everything…and in world that feeds us doom like a snack, the fact that you still show up carrying even a little whimsy is magical. And that light you made? You made that, out of nothing, out of the absolute pits of surviving yourself. You deserve more credit than you give yourself. I hope you look in the mirror and feel proud because the old you would’ve called that loss, but you, right now, you should call it freedom.
Unrecognizable < resurrection.
