@mkitchin63 @EOSTrucking My broker actually encourages taking the late appts they tend to pay a little more. I agree with you that drivers that don't know get caught off guard but I will say Google is free and more drivers should use it before booking freight. It helps me plan my reloads better.

@rig_jess @EOSTrucking Walgreens has been an 11 hr unload for at least 15 years. I think they wrote "broker" because the regular shippers/Drivers know how to schedule it & the brokered loads aren't giving the drivers the honest requirements provided by Walgreens.

Why would Walgreens be so certain that all drivers there were arranged thru brokers?

@EOSTrucking To be fair, we know this when we take pharmaceuticals in,so we get 9pm appointments & don't have to seek parking.

@WomenTruckers @TruckerDesiree If I was a driver for anyone supporting this, I would quit immediately. Not in 2 weeks. Immediately. I'd rent a car, clean out my truck, & be done. My earnings would not help purchase my demise.

Drivers didn’t “allow” the industry to become trash. Corporate greed did. Mega carriers chasing warm bodies to hold steering wheels did. Brokers posting freight for pennies did. Profits over standards. We’re tired of being blamed for an industry we don’t control.
