@cancelwok3 I don't see JP defining what he's calling antisemitic, but we know it's out there & is growing. I'm not clear what you mean by "wider public discourse." I'll assume I'm missing context. In any event, I appreciate you & your response, & share your prayers for JP. I love you both.

If you look at the comment thread above, I go back and forth with a guy and it explains everything. I’m not reading it as anti Christian. His wife is Catholic. He’s not anti Christian. His post is in response to a much wider public discourse and he heavily implies that anyone who disagrees with his side of the claim is antisemitic. Which I think is sadly beneath his abilities of reasoning. It’s just not rational thinking…. In my opinion. I have zero animus, hence my call for prayer. That was deeply genuine. I love Jordan. I always have. Even when I find his public discourse to be imprudent and problematic.

It’s a sad day when you see a brilliant mind begin to drift because it refuses to place itself under the full authority and Kingship of Jesus Christ. The darkening of the intellect, when it touches an otherwise extraordinary mind, is something we should deeply grieve and pray earnestly for. Imagine what Jordan’s mind could become, if it was wholly placed under the Kingship of Christ. He’d be an absolute force! Please pray for Jordan. His intellect and ability to think is a profound gift from God. It’s helped bring many people, including myself, out of some of the darkest places the human mind can descend into. We don’t abandon people when we believe that they have become confused. Especially not those of whom we have already witnessed God accomplishing a great amount of good through. We never abandon men that we owe a debt to. And to Jordan, in many ways, many of us do owe at least a bare minimum of gratitude towards him, for the force that he was in a very critical time in our country. We never abandon those that once held us up. Ever. We pray. Relentlessly. “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” +JMJ+

With regard to "Judeo Christian": The 10 Commandments are Jewish. The great stories of the Old Testament are Jewish. The Jews developed the idea of subsidiarity as the alternative to tyranny and slavery. The Jews established the cultural preconditions for the rise of universal literacy. The fate of Israel at the hands of the Islamists is the fate of the West. This rising tide of anti-semitism sickens me. Those of you engaging in it for your oh-so-moral reasons—you're despicable. And remember, you proud "Christians" objecting in all your purity to the term: Christ Himself was a Jew.

@andreamhartmann @cancelwok3 JP was not making the case for Judaism, and he is not jewish. He was pointing out Christianity started with Judaism (the OT). I'm not quibbling with Nancy's plea to pray for JP's conversion - I support it. What I don't understand is the tone of animus.

@rightoutof_CA @cancelwok3 Do the Jews living today have salvation in Jesus Christ if by their religion they inherently reject Him? The true home of every Jew and non-jew alike is the Catholic Church. No judeo Christian anything. Salvation through Christ only. It's the only truly charitable option.

@IzaBooboo Also she's wrong. Trump said "they let you do it," which is not against their will. His point being that this crass behavior can be transactional when the man has something the woman wants; star-power, wealth, fame. Graham's action was unwanted, one-sided abuse.

You can tell she's full of shit because she talks about Trump grabbing women against their will and claims that's different, when Platner grabbed his girlfriend and shoving her in a closet. Pretty sure that was not her will.
Curtis Houck@CurtisHouck

WATCH: New York Times reporter Jodi Kantor – who wrote many of the #MeToo stories – DEFENDS Graham Platner and DISMISSES the allegations against him by @LyndseyFifield and other ex-girlfriends because they were not “abuse” and women saying they just “did not like what” they saw from him... “Well, let’s talk about what they may or may not be willing to overlook the accusations against Graham Platner are not classic MeToo accusations. They’re not about a boss and a young female employee being subjected to sexual advances. They’re — they were mostly made in the context of consensual relationships. There are these, like, very sensational texts about sex. There are allegations from former girlfriends that are not — the way my colleagues reported them were not like classic abuse allegations. They were mostly like being his boyfriend gave me a view into him and I did not like what I saw. His character was scary. He had this Nazi tattoo. Et cetera.” “There was one allegation of crossing a line physically, but I think that means that these are pretty different accusations than, say, the one that — the ones that President Trump faced. And, of course, in the Access Hollywood tape, President Trump bragged about grabbing women against their will. And so I think it speaks to the kind of confusion of the long post MeToo moment in which, like, gender related accusations get bundled together. But they’re actually very different.”

“Megan Phelps-Roper grew up in the Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka, KS. She left, rejected its teachings, and became a vocal critic. The left celebrates her. She is courageous. Principled. Enlightened. Yasmine Mohammed grew up in a fundamentalist Sunni Muslim environment in Vancouver, BC. She was forced to veil as a child, married off, beaten, and later discovered her husband was affiliated with al Qaeda. She escaped, rejected Islam, and became a human rights activist. She is disinvited. Denounced. Labeled an Islamophobe by the left. These two women did the same thing. One is applauded. It is radical, fringe, reactionary, illogical, unscientific and historically unprecedented to assert that children don’t need both a mom and dad. We’re not going to be gaslit into thinking we’re extreme for believing the same thing all Christians—and most people in general—have believed for millennia

@HistoryBoutique @MarioNawfal Yes! The left (& media) lied to Pretti, deceived him and now he's dead. There have been far more detained criminal illegals in red states without the need for raids. MN "sanctuary" policy has created unnecessary chaos & violence. Walz fomented it. The blood is on his hands.

@MarioNawfal I was a liberal less than a year ago. I still have a connection to those overly emotional feelings the left expresses. What I see is a kind man who was manipulated into thinking that fighting ICE was standing up for humanity. He was wrong.

Alex Pretti should not be labelled a terrorist or shot for carrying a gun The Second Amendment is there for a reason Those who think the shooting of Alex was justified believe Alex may have reached for his gun holster, and therefore perceived as a threat The ongoing invesigation should give us more clarity so we can all come to a conclusion based on the facts For now, everyone is reating based on emotions and speculation

@gregmcantwell @EWErickson You have to deny deportations are happening in red states for this take to make sense. But deportations are happening in red states and chaos is not.

@EWErickson Trump is intentionally causing chaos in blue states. Everyone sees that. He wants chaos so he can invoke the Insurrection Act and bring down the hammer. Why? Probably because he wants to cancel the midterms. And end the republic.

These scenes are not happening in Texas, Georgia, Florida, and other red states. ICE is in those states and deporting people, But those states are cooperating with ICE. Partisans in blue states have decided it is virtuous to protect illegal aliens, regardless of the length of their rap sheets. Believing the cause righteous and herself virtuous, Renee Good entered the fight to stymie ICE. After her death, her partner screamed out, “You used real bullets?” The answer is because the deportations are not a game or virtue signaling. ICE has detained and deported dangerous criminals who shoot guns at law enforcement agents and, tragically, because Donald Trump is President, Renee Good decided to defend those illegal aliens against her own government and died. ewerickson.substack.com/p/the-goal-pos…

Something clicked with me today: I don’t have to be at war with a culture that booted me out seven years ago. They did me a favor. I’ve sold nearly 11,000 copies of my poetry books that I published myself (I keep most of the royalties), my newsletter has over 7,000 subscribers, I live in a huge apartment after decades in substandard housing (shacks and basement hovels), I have a tuxedo cat who makes sure I go to bed on time every night and helps keep me sane, and I have some truly loyal friends. I won. I can lean into that, and I can use it to propel myself even further. The war is over. Haters will forever sit and twist in their delirium of jealousy and spite. They lost. It’s what they do best, since most of them don’t write anymore anyway.

I’ve spent half of my adult life living in one foreign country or another and I don’t think I’ve ever felt so estranged from the surrounding culture as I am from the aesthetics and sensibilities of this movement. Not even a criticism, I just feel more at home in Greece than in these images.

Agree or not. Charlie Kirk presented his case on many topics for public scrutiny. I'm Australian, so I can't begin to understand the American love for their guns. I don't try to argue about it any more with any Americans. Our countries are not the same and are not built on the same foundations. What I respect is the willingness of Americans to have public debates about it and to defend their views on it. Here is the full clip that people are taking only a small section of to make a 'gotcha' moment about a man recently assassinated. Full context is always important, and that is just over of the many many things people are way too quick to ignore in their determination to one-up opponents. A lot of valuable debate and exchange of ideas is being lost because people will not fact-check themselves, or cherry pick for the win. Debate is good. But considered and well-reasoned debate is so much better. Instagram link to the full Charlie Kirk argument for the 2nd Amendment is on the first reply.
