Colchonero, French & Spanish speaker. Watching the Disunited Kingdom go down under the Brexit I fought since Cameron announced his ERG pleasing capitulation.

No one is against better relations with the EU. We largely face the same problems, after all. But the EU seems to be able to imagine only one way of better relations with European states, which is subordination to EU laws without any say in them.

The world has changed since the 2016 #Brexit vote. In response, the UK & EU need to be more willing to change fundamental aspects of their post-Brexit relationship. New @CER_EU/ @KAS_UKIRL policy brief by @CER_IanBond Read here: buff.ly/vQRCfrT

Can you imagine, can you imagine being one of the families who, at the behest of the US, lost loved ones in NATO operations and hearing this 𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭-𝐝𝐨𝐝𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 bellend imply they were spared any real danger ? What an absolutely disgraceful human being ....

The only 3 people to benefit from Brexit were Johnson - got prime minister Farage - got a cult following Putin - got a weaker UK and Europe. The rest of us got a poorer, more divided country with less rights and freedoms. Plus now we know reform were on the Russian take.

I'm really happy to learn Ben Bradley has joined Reform and will be working with us on local Government. He has a wealth of knowledge and knows what the areas who placed their faith and trust in us need. Also a really decent bloke and sound as a pound.

20 Years!! Two decades on, I remain incredibly grateful to everyone who helped back in 2005 and to all those who supported me - and the @Conservatives - through the 2010 and 2015 elections, and during our time in office. With your help we changed our party to serve as a modern, compassionate Conservative Party that truly represented our country. Thank you!

@Angieeclectic @Heccles94 She speaks English, German, Korean, some Chinese, Russian. Why learn Spanish when she has no need for it? She's multi-lingual already. She spends 24 hours/day caring for abused/abandoned dogs discarded by the Spaniards in Mallorca. The animals want ❤️ not Spanish chitchat.

Imagine emigrating to Spain and then not learning the local language, not integrating and then protesting migration into Britain. These deluded and dangerous thugs are a threat to Britain.

This is a total disgrace. The BBC has doctored footage of Trump to make it look as though he incited a riot - when he in fact said no such thing. We have Britain’s national broadcaster using a flagship programme to tell palpable untruths about Britain’s closest ally. Is anyone at the BBC going to take responsibility - and resign? telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/11/0…

The Daily Mail today: “Anger as Brits told to register with POLICE to use e-gates in Germany!” 10 years ago: “Take Back Control!” Turns out “taking back control” just means everyone else now controls you. Keir Starmer’s Brexit Reset promised easier travel. Instead, we’ve reset to 1973 only with more queues and less dignity. Take back control they said. Now you need police permission to enter Frankfurt.

@JuliaHB1 Was love for China and Russia as treacherous as his Brexit poison? All in all his fate should mirror that of his Turkish forbear. Unfortunately Blair rescinded the death penalty for treason.

It’s #ReformActionDay. We’re out across the country talking safe borders, free speech, and a thriving Britain. I’m here in my ward and heading across London meeting people who want to make this the best city in the world again. London’s been run into the ground. Let’s rebuild it.

🚨🗣️Kylian Mbappé on losing the Madrid derby to Atletico Madrid: "It was a tough game, because no one expected that. When you win 2-1 you don't expect to concede four more goals." "It was a hard time for the team, but we have to continue, without forgetting what has happened, because it will be good for us in the future if we want to win." "We will always think about this game and we will always fight not to have another moment like this in the season. They were right, they went to play a derby, and we didn't put the intensity in the duels, and they won in all of them." "Then we lost the rhythm, we lost control of the game and what happened happened."

Incidentally English graduates are in demand by tech companies who need to translate what they do into understandable language for their business customers in particular. But why let facts get in the way of a stupid soundbite?
Alexander Clarkson @APHClarkson

If UK governments want to generate incentives that channel students to degrees considered strategically crucial to the future of the UK economy then they would have more success if they just removed tuition fees on and fully subsidised specific fields of teaching and research
