The idea that a JIRA ticket should have so much information in it that anyone can pick it up, do the task, and verify acceptance criteria is asinine. So much effort to avoid talking to each other. My mind boggles at this stuff.

Too often we reward people who solve problems while ignoring those who prevent them in the first place. Instead of glorifying those who run around putting out fires, we need to create an organizational culture that empowers everyone to act responsibly at the first sign of smoke.

Recommendations for WFH equipment with little kids? Thinking external mic that cuts out ambient noise and sound suppression/isolation for the ears…and anything else you might add? Issue is I lose focus and get anxious when I can hear kids getting upset/babies crying, etc.
