@chrisaalid yeah, and i get it
people just trying to feel like they have a handle on something very complicated / intimidating / trying to help / trying to get ahead / all of the above
even me sharing how i feel is a mixture of these things
English

@cyanhex It’s funny how easy it is to over complicate that stuff

@benblumenrose @TonyRobbins ❤️💯💯💯💯❤️
products that truly help people resemble the healthy orgs / advisors that build them

Years back an investor friend told me he looks for “talent density” in his investments. Basically, can this founder recruit and retain the best people?
Well there’s recruiting great designers/engineers... and then there’s getting @TonyRobbins to join you as a founder.
That's the level of passion and depth of care Anson Whitmer and Tyler Sheaffer have brought to The Path, an AI therapy app that isn’t designed for engagement, but for care. It's available today in 50 languages, for free.
Congrats on the raise and lets bring better mental health to millions across the globe!

A thread of @figma agent prompt examples / screen recordings I helped bring to life to get you started on automations (with 🎵 made on my OP-XY): 🧵
1.) Explore design directions
Prompt: Give me 3 style options for this design, one that's organic, one modern, and one retro.

someday, when @claudeai project breakthroughs can graduate / evolve naturally into skills is going to be wild
too many dots to connect right now between paradigms / memory concepts
but it’s going to get so intuitive that all these thought posts on how to build a cracked claude setup will be unnecessary
English

everyone is understandably and as usual trying to say what the ideal workflow is as ai takes over
the reality though is that designers/engineers/etc have many different styles of working, and the tools can be used in many different ways
figma will be more powerful because of this capability for your purposes, and it doesn’t stop them from also maybe going after the workflow you’re hungry for
English

I love figma, but that feels like the wrong direction.
Figma's the best tool by far for quick ideation, it's the closest thing to a digital sketchbook. The ergonomics are just unmatched.
If you opened adobe suite recently, then you know what I'm talking about.
I just want to design in code as fast and effortless as I design in Figma without MCP dance or switching tools.
I do hope it can clean up my design files though.

@henrymodis @DamiDina @scspeier Henry, you were a constant inspiration
not only because of the craft bar you honed but because of your quiet humility around it all
you helped make perplexity SO iconic in an immensely challenging and thrilling era
English

Last week was my final week at Perplexity. After nearly four years of full‑speed, labor‑of‑love work, I felt ready to pass the baton. I’m excited to share that @scspeier will lead the design team going forward. There are many things I’m proud of, but most of all I’m proud of the design culture at Perplexity. It fosters boldness, creativity, trust, and, most importantly, real impact. Everyone on the team lives our brand’s values, embodying curiosity and a love of learning. I have no doubt this culture will not only endure but continue to grow as the company evolves under Sebastian’s stewardship. ····

Design agents on the canvas opens up so many doors for how we design and build products.
The first step is having agents that meet you where you are, and design with you.
I’m so stoked for the countless of figmates who put so much into this.
Over a year training our own models and hillclimbing on quality. Truly a labour of love.
See you in the Beta :)
