I've been accused of being blunt, so here's PR 101 in under 40 c's: 1) Media is not the 'enemy'; 2) To be effective, tell the truth; 3) Do your own job rather than telling reporters how to do theirs; 4) If you can't master 1-3, don't expect to get the media coverage you want.

If we’ve reduced frequencies, why do the trains still operating have fewer cars open, @NJTransit_CA? Why are the crews not opening both quiet cars on every applicable @NJTRANSIT Newark Division train, per the timetable?

I’m closely monitoring the delays to rail service this morning along the Northeast Corridor. @NJTRANSIT is working with @Amtrak to get this resolved as quickly and safely as possible. These delays are unacceptable, and yet another reason why I’m fighting for the Gateway Tunnel.

Hi @NJTRANSIT Why is train #3969 delayed, why when you finally boarded was the track# not posted, and why did you close the back of the train despite that it’s packed and there are people standing? The way you treat your customers is appalling. @NJTransit_CA @NJTRANSIT_NEC

Hey @NJTRANSIT @NJTransit_CA is there a reason Train #3963 only boarded passengers from the middle of the train? This is incredibly inefficient and forces those who get off near the back of the train to walk to the middle and then back again.

Hi @NJTRANSIT I’m on train 3926, which was supposed to arrive in NY at 8:45am. We’ve been parked on the track for more than half an hour. No announcement about the delay. The least you can do is update your passengers.
