Do you remember a television programme from the seventies introduced by Fred Trueman called ‘The Indoor League’?
It featured pub games such as bar billiards, shove halfpenny and arm wrestling. Seem to remember special guests such as Harvey Smith. Fred signed off the programme with the catchphrase ‘Ah’ll see thee’.

It's obviously ridiculous to make parliamentarians swear an oath of allegiance to the monarchy. Members of parliament owe their allegiance to the constituents that they represent. If any oath is to be sworn it should be to them.

Utterly disgraceful & disrespectful behaviour from the new SNP MP for Arbroath & Broughty Ferry. She added a preamble to the loyal oath indicating she didn’t accept it, then read the actual words holding up crossed fingers, presumably to signify she didn’t believe it. Awful.
