@DrBenTapper1 This behavior won’t change until people like this are made to pay by the masses

Utah residents packed meetings begging officials to stop a massive AI data center project tied to billionaire Kevin O’Leary.
They warned about water usage, environmental destruction, corporate control, and losing their own community to the AI gold rush.
The response from leadership? Mockery, arrogance, and complete disregard for the people footing the bill through taxes and local support.
One commissioner even told residents to “grow up.”
Then they approved the project anyway.
This is what happens when corporations and political power merge. Citizens become obstacles. Communities become assets. And local voices become irrelevant.

@EoinLenihan He talks about branding then turns off replies … great sign of a strong brand 🤣

Hate to break it to you but “brand Ireland” is at its lowest ebb in my lifetime. Seen abroad as a leftist, preachy & prohibitively expensive.
Shame your party FG & FF spent the last 5 years dismantling one of the best tourism machines in the world - stripped out for IPAS beds.

Brand Ireland can be our secret weapon as we head into really difficult economic and geopolitical times.

Not enough people are talking about how Wrexham actually has a legit shot in getting promoted to the EPL this season!
They are coming from 3 consecutive promotions ever since Ryan Reynolds took over.
If they get promoted to the EPL 🏴 they’d become the 1st team in history to get 4 consecutive promotions all the way to the Premier League.

@SuzieD755164 Everything in the country, even when well intended, is allowed to be rampant with abuse and fraud. It’s a plague that the government simply refuses to acknowledge or deal with.

Were you aware that Ukrainian cars in Ireland (1300 registered) DO NOT have to pay any road tax and do not require an NCT? How can this be justified? Isn't this preferential special treatment? A financial leg up for people who often have high end luxury vehicles (there have been many photos in evidemce of this)? While so many others are struggling? What is the point of the NCT if the road worthiness of 1300 cars doesn't matter? If the Gardaí pull you over tomorrow for no tax and NCT and bring your before the courts, what would you say? Is it even legal? To allow this preferential treatment of one group over another? What is the justification? Is it to rile us up? Demoralise us?

.@grok why are gas prices gone up in America when it doesn’t get its oil from Iran?

@griptmedia Yeah, government is very in touch with the wants and needs of the public in fairness 🤦🏻♂️

"I don't think there would be too many at a public meeting in support of a nuclear reactor": A Minister says it would take "extensive" work to convince the public to embrace nuclear power, and that the Government has "no plans" to pursue it at present:

@SnDMediaNews Drives a BMW that most Irish people couldn't afford, kills a man because he can't even drive the car, then is given an interpreter paid for by the state because he couldn't even be arsed learning English. Now we're stuck with this worthless, low IQ POS for the rest of his life.

Nigerian Asylum Seeker Pleads Guilty to Killing Kilkenny Father-of-Three in Wicklow Horror Crash
A Nigerian asylum seeker has pleaded guilty to dangerous driving causing the death of a Kilkenny father-of-three in a head-on collision in Co Wicklow.
Abayomi Ikanlawon (36), who gave an address at the Irish Bar and Hostel on Church Street, Co Carlow, appeared at Wicklow Circuit Criminal Court where he admitted one count of dangerous driving causing death.
The fatal crash occurred on October 24, 2025, at around 6.43pm on the R725 at Rath East, Shillelagh. Ikanlawon, driving a BMW, overtook crossing a continuous white line and collided with a Seat Altea driven by Thomas ‘Tommy’ Cuddihy (66), from Cashel Downs, Kilkenny (originally Callan).
Mr Cuddihy died at the scene.
His wife Kay, a passenger, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Ikanlawon was also hospitalised but discharged himself against medical advice.
Ikanlawon, who entered Ireland in 2024 seeking international protection, has no previous convictions. He was described in court as “very apologetic”. A Yoruba interpreter has been arranged for sentencing.
Mr Cuddihy was remembered as a “true gentleman” – thoughtful, generous and greatly respected in his community. He is survived by his wife, children Simon, Tom and Ciara, and extended family.
The case was adjourned for sentencing.

So, let me get this straight—if we get nuked, it will be by missiles with the technology given to China by Clinton.
It will be funded by Iran with money given to them by Obama.
The warheads they developed with uranium were sold to Russia by Hillary. ... but through all of this, Trump is the traitor.
Ok, got it. Makes sense to me!

🇮🇪👮♂️ I’ve a son who is a guard. I know the situations they put themselves in & the risks they take to uphold the law. Anger at the Gardaí over the recent protests is seriously misplaced - and Sinn Féin TDs’ refusal to condemn any of the abuse they have received is abhorrent!
