All it took was a spec, 20 or so minutes to flesh out the PRD, and it was off to the races

But thanks to Chief, it's been building in the background while I've been eating dinner with the family and watching a couple of shows.

Armed with those two concepts, it got thinking about the Google Sheet I've used to manage pickup basketball games for the last two years. I had always meant for that to be a weekend project to learn Laravel, but Knowatoa has taken up all my time.

Earlier at the retreat, @MathiasHansen also showed off Chief. Everyone was instantly pumped, and I think it birthed at least three new apps over the weekend: MacOS apps, CLI tools, etc minicodemonkey.github.io/chief/

At our retreat, @mbuckbee brought up the idea that today's apps are like yesterday's spreadsheets. We always used to joke that every SaaS starts out as a spreadsheet.

AI Search is a content marketing equalizer. We see page 2+ search results getting cited that would never have been able to compete before.

Just saw a guy try to give his parents his first class upgrade. It was the sweetest thing.

It's tough balancing product, marketing, and sales. At Knowatoa, we always try to focus on two of the three. Pretty impressed with how @mbuckbee has led the product team over the last couple of months.
