At lunch, you bring it up. Your coworkers nod. Of course they do. Why wouldn’t they? It sounds real. Now five more people carry that same anger. They go home. They repeat it. To friends. To family. Online. Just like that, one headline becomes thousands of convictions. But here is what never made it into that headline what you did not see, what no one bothered to check: It wasn’t America. It wasn’t Israel. It was a failed missile fired by the IRGC that fell on its own people. And by the time the truth shows up, if it ever does, the damage is already done. גיל שלי כותב: תקציר האירועים. מקבל הודעת וואטסאפ מדייר" בבניין שמישהו מתעסק עם התלת אופן שלו, אבל הוא רוחץ את הילדים ומבקש עזרה. לוקח מקל גארני (פיליפיני במבוק מלא) יורד לחניון, מוצא את המנעול חתוך וריח של דיסק שעבד ברגע בחיתוך. הגיע אחרי עוד דייר, זרקתי לו עוד מקל (ירדתי עם שניים לכל מקרה) קבלתי תמונה בוואטסאפ מהמערכת שלנו של פורץ עם קסדה שכנראה בדרך החוצה. עולה מהחניון למעלה, בדיוק יצא האיש מהתמונה עם הקסדה ואופניים. הספקתי לרוץ לעמוד מולו, צעקתי שיחכה אתי למשטרה. הוא זרק עלי את האופניים והתחיל לרוץ ברחוב בן אביגדור. אני ועוד בחור צעיר רצים אחריו, השיט הזה לא מיועד לבחור בגילי. הפורץ פתאום נעצר בסוף הרחוב, זורק תיק גב כבד שבו היו כלי הפריצה, זורק את הקסדה, ומנסה להסביר שהוא בכלל מילואימניק ומה אני רוצה ממנו. טוב שהיו לנו מקלות בידיים כי היה עליו סכין כמו שחששתי, והיה עימות קצר בינינו אחרי שזרק את האופניים ולפני שהתחיל לברוח. תוך דקות הגיע גם יובל ועוד שישה שכנים, הקפנו אותו, וחיכינו לניידת חצי שעה למרות שאמרנו שאנחנו חוששים שיש עליו סכין. ירדתי ב20:14 למטה, ניידת משמר הגבול הגיעה בשעה 20:47. השוטרים ערכו חיפוש עליו מצאו סכין בכיס, מצאו עוד כמה דברים, מצאו בתיק את הדיסק אתו חתך את המנעול, שוטרי משמר הגבול היו אחלה. אבל, כדי למסור עדות הלכתי ברגל פחות מעשר דקות לתחנת המשטרה שרת, זמן תגובה של חצי שעה לאירוע שהוא מסכן חיים זה זמן לא סביר בעליל. כמובן שמהאדרנלין לא ישנתי בלילה, כמו שאמרתי אני זקן מדי לחרא הזה. מה שיפה, הפורץ הגיע על אופניים אותם גנב בסיבוב הקודם שלו בבניין שלנו, היה לו מנוי כנראה. הוא כעס עלי שדיווחנו למשטרה שיש עליו סכין למרות שלא ראיתי, והבטיח לי שיבוא לתפור אותי בהמשך. מקווה בשבילו שלא ינסה את מזלו, לא מולי הוא יצטרך להתמודד יש מצב שהוא עלול להפגע הרבה יותר קשה מהמכות שהוא חטף הפעם, הבנים שלי הרבה יותר צעירים ומוכשרים ממני בתחום. אני זקן מדי לחרא הזה, אין משטרה, אין בטחון, "למעשה אין מדינה, כל איש לנפשו
