Israel se vio obligado a mantener cerrada durante 32 días su mayor plataforma de gas, la de Leviatán, por culpa de la guerra. Egipto y Jordania, que dependen fuertemente del gas israelí, empezaron a entrar en crisis. En privado, en conversaciones discretas, Egipto y Jordania le pidieron a Israel que volviera a abrir el grifo. Esta semana, Israel lo hizo. El gas volvió a fluir hacia los dos países. Piensen esto un momento. Israel tuvo una oportunidad casi perfecta y de muy bajo riesgo para hacer exactamente lo que el mundo islámico lleva décadas acusándolo de querer hacer: destruir a sus vecinos árabes.
