My solar only produced ~6kWh today on this damp and overcast day. That would fully charge the Ami and then some. Giving around 50 miles of autonomy. In my eV6, that would be about 20 miles. On a bad solar day.

The Government has announced new funding to expand EV charging across England, making it easier for people without driveways to plug in at home and at work From 1 April, renters, flat owners & businesses will be able to claim up to £500 off the cost of installing an EV charger.

@road_electric The problem with public transport is that you have to share it with often inconsiderate members of the public. If only people didn’t put feet on seats, shout phone conversations, play videos through speakers, smoke, drink, stand/sit uncomfortably close, abuse quiet carriages

I suppose it depends on the respondent's perspective on a future world - 10 years? 25 years? 50 years? Even so, it's surprising that the figure is so high. Wouldn't we all love to vote for public transport regardless of where we live but unfortunately that isn't reality, for various reasons.

Interesting poll results here.. The majority wish to chauffeured to work autonomously narrowly beating driving. People really have fallen out of love with public transport, though. Could autonomous vehicles be the new public transport solution?
