BREAKING: Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis brings down the hammer on MAGA creep "Gym" Jordan after he attempts to abuse his power to interfere with her investigation into Donald Trump. Her response to his demand for inside information on the the case is PERFECT. In her letter responding to his aggressive attempts to disrupt her investigation, Willis wrote— "A charitable explanation of your correspondence is that you are ignorant of the United States and Georgia Constitutions and codes." "A more troubling explanation is that you are abusing your authority as Chairman of the Committee on the Judiciary to attempt to obstruct and interfere with a Georgia criminal prosecution," she went on. "To the extent you have specific questions about the Department of Justice’s communications, we refer you to the Department of Justice," Willis added. This, of course, is exactly what Jordan is doing. He wants to exploit his Congressional power to help out the MAGA cult leader and score points with Trump supporters. Specifically, Jordan has been fishing for copies of any and all communications between the District Attorney's office and federal agencies like the Department of Justice — presumably so that he can tip off Trump's team. Willis's response is pitch perfect. Jim Jordan is a partisan hack acting in bad faith and must be treated as such. BREAKING: Donald Trump is hit with a brutal Friday bombshell as lawyers from the prominent conservative Federalist Society publish a paper declaring that Trump MUST be banned from running for president “under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment.” But it gets WAY worse for Trump… In their brutal paper, the Federalist Society accuses Trump of treason for “engaging in or gave aid and comfort to an insurrection against the constitutional government” when he incited the deadly January 6 insurrection as part of his failed coup attempt. Adding insult to injury for Trump, the Federalist Society argues that Section 3 of the 14th Amendment — known as the insurrection clause — is "self-executing, operating as an immediate disqualification from office, without the need for additional action by Congress. It can and should be enforced by every official, state or federal, who judges qualifications. It covers a broad range of former offices, including the presidency. And in particular, it disqualifies former President Donald Trump, and potentially many others, because of their participation in the attempted overthrow of the 2020 presidential election.” The clause states that "no person shall be a senator or representative in Congress, or elector of president and vice president, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any state legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any state, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof." Last September, a New Mexico judge ordered the removal of a county commissioner who took part in the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. The decision marked the first time since 1869 that a court disqualified a public official under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment. Oh this is great: Members of the khaki-clad right wing extremists Patriot Front are suing a newspaper that unmasked them because they lost their jobs and are being shunned by family and friends aa a result. Editors of The Idaho Statesman have no remorse for sharing the names of the five Patriot Front members, writing that their beliefs are so reprehensible they choose to wear masks to hide their identities. One of the editors, Alan Capito, took pictures and recorded audio of their conversations and exposed them publicly. "What they’re really upset about is suffering the consequences of their abhorrent views — views that they feel so strongly about, they don’t want anyone to know," one of the editors wrote. The five exposed members complained that they were fired from their jobs, threatened at their homes, and had their tires slashed. Do you believe members of extremist groups like Patriot Front and the KKK should continue to have the right to hide their identities from the public?

I'm furious. . . . CNN is anti-American. In less than an hour, they allowed an authoritarian wannabe to lie constantly while an audience full of his followers applauded. This was not a town hall, it was a rally. Donald bragged about overturning Roe v. Wade. He claimed—unchallenged—that Democrats allow babies to be murdered after they’re born. He bragged about his intention to pardon convicted insurrectionists. He advocated for the United States to default on its debt which would destroy the world economy. And he showed, once again, why a jury of his peers found him liable for sexual assault and defamation. But Donald Trump cannot destroy our country by himself. That requires allies. He already has the Republican party in his pocket. And now, he has CNN on his side. E. Jean Carroll’s victory yesterday was a boon to the rule of law.
