@mikedoise @anhphong_dev I'm really considering picking up a MacBook Neo because it's well in my budget where I don't have to finance, but I also want to future proof so I can do more with my Mac.

@anhphong_dev Xcode works great on the Neo along with many other apps. it is incredible what you can do with this machine. I'm running Perspective Server on it, which allows me to connect from any other machine on my network, and chat with Foundation Models.

🚨 Google is expanding Personal Intelligence across its products. Personal Intelligence connects your Google apps like Gmail and Google Photos so AI Mode in Search and Gemini can give responses tailored specifically to you. TLDR - Helps find products based on past purchases and preferred brands   - Can troubleshoot devices using purchase receipts and product details   - Helps plan travel using flight details, schedules, and preferences   - Can generate personalized travel itineraries and local recommendations   - Suggests hobbies and activities based on your interests   - Users can control which apps are connected and turn them off anytime   - Gemini does not train directly on Gmail or Photos content  Currently rolling out in the U.S. for personal Google accounts. Perplexity went silent from mid December to mid February, and everyone thought they were cooked. Then they did this... > Perplexity Computer > Perplexity Computer on iOS and Android > Perplexity Personal Computer Perplexity Computer is probably the best cloud based AI agent system right now, but also expensive, ngl 😄
Aravind Srinivas@AravSrinivas

With the iOS, Android, and Comet rollout, Perplexity Computer is the most widely deployed orchestra of agents by far. There are rough edges in frontend, connectors, billing and infrastructure that will be addressed in the coming days.

The new Claude Opus 4.6 1M context window is insane. I am able to launch subagents a lot more now. I used to run into issues with auto compacting which led to hallucinations and lost context. This is a substantial improvement from @claudeai

Took the /remote-control magic and powered a single-long running session for Cowork Dispatch. Coolest abilities: 1. Send files from local machine so you can work on PPTs on the go 2. Spawn sub-sessions on Desktop that you can drill down on 3. Chat about any local cowork session

We're shipping a new feature in Claude Cowork as a research preview that I'm excited about: Dispatch! One persistent conversation with Claude that runs on your computer. Message it from your phone. Come back to finished work. To try it out, download Claude Desktop, then pair your phone.

Testing Cowork from my phone. The walkie talkie analogy is spot on, your phone becomes a remote control that talks to Claude running on your desktop. One more to the weekend testing list... stay tuned, post incoming on how it works.

FINALLY! Anthropic just shipped the missing piece between OpenClaw and Claude Cowork… Remote control You can now text Claude from your phone using “Dispatch” and it: - Executes tasks on your desktop. - Reads your local files. - Searches your Slack and email. - Builds presentations. - Organizes your folders. One persistent conversation. You send it a mission from your pocket. You come back to finished work sitting in your file system. Your phone just became a remote control for an AI employee that lives on your computer.

@mikedoise Hi, how well does Claude Code run on the MacBook Neo? I'm thinking of picking one up so I can build an iOS app for my web app SparkDeck.

I still think it is amazing that development is possible in Xcode on the MacBook Neo.

I fine-tuned a language model on a MacBook Neo with 8GB of RAM. Peak memory: 2.3 GB. Training time: 20 minutes. Cost: $0. None of this works without MLX. Thank you to the MLX team for making local training actually accessible. Full writeup on what I got wrong and what finally worked: #MLX #AppleSilicon #MacBookNeo

Hey Taylor! how does the MacBook Neo do with Coding? I was thinking of picking one up, but I wanna make sure it can run Claude Code and eventually XCode efficiently even though it has 8 gigs of RAM. otherwise I'll have to wait a bit longer so hopefully I can finance a MacBook Pro.

Claude Opus 4.6 with 1M context in Claude Code is a massive upgrade. 5x the context window we had before yesterday's update. Entire codebases. Full documentation. Complete conversation history. All in context. No more truncation. No more lost context mid-session. This changes everything for complex refactors.

📺 @perplexity_ai Computer officially blew my mind and it feels like the next phase of AI. They partnered with me on this video, but I everything I made (and the limitations I show) are all me: youtu.be/3OHB0L297Ig?si…
