@anhphong_dev Xcode works great on the Neo along with many other apps. it is incredible what you can do with this machine. I'm running Perspective Server on it, which allows me to connect from any other machine on my network, and chat with Foundation Models.

I am able to launch subagents a lot more now.
I used to run into issues with auto compacting which led to hallucinations and lost context.

Coolest abilities:
1. Send files from local machine so you can work on PPTs on the go
2. Spawn sub-sessions on Desktop that you can drill down on

I still think it is amazing that development is possible in Xcode on the MacBook Neo.

I fine-tuned a language model on a MacBook Neo with 8GB of RAM.
Peak memory: 2.3 GB. Training time: 20 minutes. Cost: $0.
None of this works without MLX. Thank you to the MLX team for making local training actually accessible.

Hey Taylor! how does the MacBook Neo do with Coding? I was thinking of picking one up, but I wanna make sure it can run Claude Code and eventually XCode efficiently even though it has 8 gigs of RAM. otherwise I'll have to wait a bit longer so hopefully I can finance a MacBook Pro.
