@robgillezeau @BCHL_Alberta What people? What poperty? Is this clearly defined anywhere? Because someone fished there 200 years ago, it's their property? What about other bands that also fished there? The Musqueam and Tsawwassen are already filing their own lawsuits over the decision. #clusterfuck

@BCHL_Alberta The entire point is that people were illegally stripped of their property rights by the state.

It's disappointing to see the federal Conservatives going down this ugly and unprincipled path to try and save Poilievre's leadership. The Cowichan decision is literally about the protection of property rights & enforcing fair compensation when those property rights are violated.
Pierre Poilievre@PierrePoilievre

Without property rights, there are no economic rights. The Liberals must reverse course on the chaos they have inflicted on the people of British Columbia: conservative.ca/cpc/protect-pr…

@robgillezeau This is the dumbest comment I'll ready today. The only thing it literally does is muddy the concept of indefeasible title. It dumps the burden of reconciling on private citizens and opens a massive can of litigation.

@TangerineBank Sorry to @ you but I repeatedly get the same error message logging in via chrome. Clearing cache does not solve. Here is the aggressive message I just left your feedback form (because it's about my 4th message): FIX THIS!!!!!!!! Again with the "Sorry for the incovenience. This function is currently unavailable. Please try again later." message. TELL YOUR DEVELOPERS TO GREP WHERE THIS MESSAGE IS COMING FROM IN THE CODE BASE AND STOP IT FROM REOCCURRING. The function is literally logging in. It's WAY WORSE THAN AN INCONVENIENCE.

@AA_Gabriel1111 I'm a proponent of $BSV. It's the original bitcoin that was saved from the corruption that is $btc. There is a reason the exchanges banned it and at the same time allow every other manner of shitcoin.

All fiat currency is about to collapse because its rooted in 666 lower frequency signature. It will be wiped out with the Solar Flash. Focus on the Quantum Financial System, a higher dimensional framework of energy compensation.

@Martyupnorth Maybe if it was done with surplus money. Absolutely not if we are adding to the debt load.

@marissenmark It's only you that labels it "anti". I'm not anti any of these things but think we need different policies around them; policies that are more represented by the conservatives than NDP.

@TeriMooring Does everyone remember when David Eby and the NDP racked up a 70 billion dollar deficit in 4 years with nothing to show for it exexcept a downgraded provincial credit rating?

Land acknowledgements don’t hurt people. But this brand of anti-reconciliation, denialism-light, and hate absolutely does. This kind of posturing is a distraction from a politics that doesn’t actually solutions for actual problems

South Lebanon is being destroyed. A humanitarian disaster. 1.2 million people, including 400,000 children, displaced by bombardment. Villages flattened. Innocent civilians killed. Parents grieving over their dead children. This cannot be justified

Israel killed every single person in this photo in Lebanon. Every. Single. One. All journalists. Targeted and assassinated intentionally. For reporting the truth from the frontlines.

Infrastructure projects should support local tradespeople and create good-paying jobs — not undercut workers who build our communities. Proud of our NDP caucus for voting down the Conservatives anti-labour & anti-worker Bill M233 last night. @WeBuildBC

How is this allowed? A country that is under investigation for genocide, and we have police wearing badges like these on their uniform? A country that stands for oppression is openly supported and displayed on police uniforms in Canada?

@jessecmccormick Why should anyone unelected have a say over my governance? Even if there were an elected 'First Nations' council or some such thing, how could it possibly represent the 204 First Nations in BC. Nothing would ever get done!!!!!!!
