🚨 BREAKING:
Finance Minister François-Philippe Champagne just quietly recused himself from the $90 BILLION Alto high-speed rail project.
Why?
His wife, Anne-Marie Gaudet, is a Vice President at Alto.
The Crown corporation building the train.
The Ethics Commissioner has NO public record of this conflict.
The same Champagne who:
-Just flew to Beijing with the Bank of Canada governor
-Owns 2 rental properties in London, England
-Is the beneficiary of multiple trust funds
-Whose brother got a “negotiated acquittal” in a Hells Angels meth lab bust right before he entered politics
Pierre Poilievre called Alto a $90 billion boondoggle.
$700 million spent.
Zero track laid.
Now you know why.
The Finance Minister’s wife works for the company about to receive the biggest infrastructure cheque in Canadian history.

@hackagibson @mcfargey @sarobertsonca 97 percent of carbon dioxide is naturally occurring..the few parts per million that are man made do nothing.
The planet is actually at near record low carbon dioxide levels. In the past times it was much higher

@hackagibson @sarobertsonca Crossing the floor..because they are being bribed…
English

what's your endgame here? you think tweeting enough will make carney hand the country to poilievre? carney's numbers are up. mps are crossing. you're screaming into a void that doesn't care.
yeah, carney talked about a carbon border tax. the eu just started theirs. it's a trade strategy, not a plot.
the federal carbon price was supposed to hit $170 by 2030. alberta froze theirs at $95. carney can't force them without a fight. he's respecting jurisdiction. smith is playing politics.
you're not exposing a conspiracy. you're panicking because your guy is losing.

There is no “net zero”. There is no “clean” or “green” or “renewable” energy. There’s no “carbon neutral”.
Speak the left’s language, play the left’s game where you 100% will lose.
These are made up, political terms, for a political agenda with ever-changing goalposts.

Well said! End the Net-Zero lunacy.

Germans & Dutch are both very worried about damaging netzero policies in their countries. Sensible experts know that it is causing deindustrialisation & will lead to poverty for all ( except the multimillionaires & billionaires who can buy their way out of it all)

Gestoord!

@hackagibson @mcfargey @sarobertsonca Noticed you didn’t explain how a carbon tax is saving the planet from carbon dioxide…aka the gas of life
English

@mcfargey @robeman2014 @sarobertsonca yeah they did. and they owned their mistake. and look what happened, they beat your guy. carney took a bad situation, corrected it, and now he's looking at a majority government while poilievre is a 15-point drag on his own mps. seems like they thought it through after all. lol
English

@hackagibson @mcfargey @sarobertsonca And just before the next election carney will end the industrial carbon tax to save his ass and he will finally end the forced EV mandate
English

@hackagibson @sarobertsonca The PBO already noted a tiny percentage got back more than they paid..with a vast majority paying far more than they got back as a rebate.
English

hey scatter brain, say what you're going to say in a single tweet.
and "almost no one got back more than they paid with the rebates"? what kind of rock are you smoking? that's not true. the parliamentary budget officer found that for the vast majority of households, rebates exceeded carbon tax costs. low and middle-income families got back more than they paid. only higher-income households paid more. you're just wrong. next. and make it good.
English

@hackagibson @sarobertsonca Oh and please tell me how a carbon tax is saving the planet as carbon dioxide does ZERO to impact the planet other than make life possible to exist
English

first it was "axe the tax." the consumer carbon tax got axed. so now you've quietly rebranded to "actually the industrial carbon tax is still there." cool. nobody said it wasn't. but you spent two years screaming about the consumer tax hurting families, and now that it's gone, you're pretending that was never the real issue. you little greasy bugger.
carney wants alberta to increase it by a factor of 6" yes, because the federal carbon price schedule has been clear for years. carney is following the plan that's been in place. that's carney doing his job.
you moved the goalposts because you couldn't admit the consumer tax is dead. lol bitch move.

Likewise Britain..Renewables cannot run a modern economy.

We need to reverse the netzero madness. It is clear now that most countries are absorbing more CO2 ( by photosynthesis) than they emit from FF …FF have made our countries better. We still need them for fertilisers & tractors & moving food to the people …The drive to netzero is antihuman. The climate will change whatever we do, it always has.
