Can't decide which is crazier - the guy who thinks he could beat a grizzly bear, or the guy who thinks he'd lose a fight to a rat.

But draw a picture of the Prophet Mohammed and display it publicly, and the police will treat you as if you’ve committed an act of terrorism. Two-tier policing is an indisputable fact. We see it in British society every single day, and this is just one of many, many examples..

I haven’t watched this season yet. Obviously this part is cringe and poorly done, but I’m not going to judge the message of the whole season from a short clip.

FWIW, I haven’t watched this season of The Capture yet, but seasons 1 and 2 were all about deception, conspiracies, and manipulation.

@CKikila @Noahpinion @testinprodcap Even if the Russians fail to pay the families of every soldier who is killed, killing soldiers still imposes a cost upon them, since this practice becomes more and more well known, and they have to pay ever higher signing bonuses and wages to new soldiers.

Obviously yes. A killer drone costs $700. A Russian soldier's signing bonus is $40,000. That's a 57x cost advantage. Russia's GDP is only 11x that of Ukraine. So Even if you use 4 drones to kill one soldier it's worth it.
panthe@pantheEU

@dim0kq Is it worth wasting one drone for one soldier?

@MaxE2review Any Al Jazeera reporter should feel lucky not be publicly hanged in Golders Green. British have been far too polite up to now, and that may be changing.

Note how every single attack on Jews is, immediately, used by Islamists as a jumping off point for further hounding/demonisation of Jews. Often it’s all completely contradictory (Jews made it up but they also did it for insurance fraud but also it wasn’t that bad; it isn’t antisemitism just anti-Zionism but also Jews are very weird and evil etc). This was the playbook as soon as Oct 7 happened (it’s a day of celebration allahu akhbar but also it never happened and the Jews did it to themselves and also fuck the Jews but also it’s only anti-Zionism) and has continued ever since. Vaguely comical but also deeply deeply sinister and just generally thick.

@boom_tentpeg The reality is that Israel is a tiny country with a limited, however dynamic, economy, and it doesn’t have the ostentatious wealth of states with enormous oil reserves. A large portion most talented people will leave for places where they can make more money no matter what.

This is what I mean when I say Israel's brain drain is not as consequential as the haters want it to be. Considering all the problems we have, our attrition rate is remarkably low.
Eric Jackson@ericjackson

Israel loses 22% of its computer science PhDs abroad. They call it a national emergency. The Knesset debates it. Newspapers run it front page. Canada loses 71% of Waterloo's best engineers. Nobody blinks. Nobody even notices! Shrug. Same problem. 4x worse. Zero urgency.

An angry Muslim mob drove a teacher from his job and his home, threatened his family, and forced him into hiding where he still remains. The authorities took no action at all against the mob. They won. Until this matter is settled I won’t listen to any talk of “Islamophobia”
Robert Jenrick@RobertJenrick

Five years ago today, a teacher from Batley Grammar showed a class a caricature of the Prophet Mohammed. Within days, a hundred Islamists were protesting outside the school gates. Outrageously, the teacher was suspended. The headteacher, Gary Kibble, apologised ‘unequivocally’. It was an astonishing act of appeasement and cowardice. The teacher was then subjected to a campaign of abuse and intimidation, including incitement to violence against him and his family. His kids had to miss school for months. They slept on mattresses in temporary accommodation. An independent probe later cleared him of any wrongdoing whatsoever. Another report likewise found that the school, council and police all ‘totally and utterly failed’ him. Too late - his life was changed forever. Have lessons been learnt from this shameful episode? I fear exactly the same thing would happen today. In fact ‘advice’ has recently been reissued by Labour councils including the one covering Batley, that children’s drawings in art lessons may be seen as ‘idolatrous’ under sharia law. Teachers are even warned that dance lessons could cause parental concerns over ‘physical contact between males and females’. Extremism is being mainstreamed. A climate of threatening and intimidatory harassment is poisoning our institutions. It's antithetical to our democratic way of life. Most of our governing class are simply too spineless to take on Islamists. Look at when I highlighted the chronic failure of integration in parts of Birmingham. I was denounced. And then proven right by West Midlands Police’s admission that violent Islamists living couldn’t be prevented from attacking Jewish football fans. The Police lied and blamed the visiting supporters in an effort to pretend they still had authority in the city. And now look at the reaction of the Prime Minister and much of the media to criticisms of a segregated Iftar in Trafalgar Square. They branded critics racist too. This was despite the Prime Minister himself pulling out of an Iftar in 2021 organised by the very same man, Omar Salha, who arranged this one, apparently because of his Islamist links. We’ve been led by weak hypocrites, who cover up, rather than confront what’s happening. The country is sliding down a dark path as a result. But innocent men and women like the Batley teacher are the greatest victims of extremism, and too many seem intent to forget them. We must defend them and stand up for all those who speak out.

BREAKING: It’s now confirmed that yesterday’s arson attack on a drone manufacturing plant in Pardubice, Czechia had nothing to do with the Israeli defense tech company Elbit Systems as initially claimed. The drones were being produced for Ukraine. Several attacks have been carried out by “anti-Israel activists” against European defense companies which provide weapons to Ukraine. It seems that Russian security services are using a combination of agents and anti-Israeli useful idiots in Europe to attack companies selling or donating weapons to Ukraine. 🇨🇿🇺🇦

France would be better off if he were dead. His name is public. People surely know where he is. I hope somebody has the courage to just do it, preferably after a joint.

French courts have allowed a Muslim migrant to go free after the brutal murder of Sarah Halimi, his 65 year old Jewish neighbor. Halimi, a retired doctor, teacher, and widowed mother of 3, was beaten to death on 4 April 2017. For more than an hour, her screams echoed around her apartment building, while her murderer alternated between shrieking “Allahu Akbar!” and howling verses from the Quran. He then threw her lifeless body from a third story window. The French courts have ruled that this man cannot be held criminally responsible for his brutal act because he’d smoked marijuana before beating Sarah to death. I don’t speak French, so I can’t say how long it took neighbors to call 911. I don’t know why the beating was allowed to reach its fatal conclusion with what appears to have been no attempt at any kind of meaningful intervention by French police. The suspect was unarmed and outnumbered, and trapped in the victim’s apartment, but he was permitted to go on beating her for an hour. I have almost 20 years’ experience in law enforcement. I cannot explain why. I don’t want to think that Sarah’s Judaism played a part in the length of the torture she was allowed to endure, or in the lackadaisical response by French police. I don’t want to think that French courts simply don’t care about dead Jews, or that Europe as a whole has given up all attempts at enforcing the law within the Muslim migrant community. I don’t want to - but what other conclusion is there to draw?

It's obvious now that Palestine groups are directed or at the very least have their targets picked by Russian intelligence services. We now had 3 incidents in Europe where these groups specifically targeted and destroyed arms production that supplies Ukraine.

Credit where it's due: Tucker is amazing at confidently delivering absolute lies. Here he is claiming that Churchill locked up members of the opposition party during WW2. When, in fact, Churchill led a National Government, i.e. one that INCLUDED leaders of the opposition parties in prominent roles. Labour leader Clement Atlee was appointed Churchill's Deputy and other leading Labour and Liberal politicians held major roles in the cabinet. The person Tucker is talking about is Oswald Mosley who was the leader of the British Union of Fascists and was not elected to anything. He wanted Britain to become a fascist country and work with Hitler. Despite this, contrary to Tucker's claims, he was not even detained for the full duration of the war and was released in 1943, two years before it ended. In most other countries he would have been hanged for treason without a second thought the day the war started. Britain's treatment of this tiny group of fascists, i.e. enemy sympathisers and collaborators, during WW2 is an example of extraordinary restraint and respect for the sanctity of human life and freedom that was not only unparalleled in the world at that time but arguably remains rare and hugely admirable even by the standards of today across most of the world. In short, Tucker is completely wrong and we can only conclude that the spreading of these malicious lies is motivated not only by his ignorance of history but also by the fact that he will say ANYTHING he deems necessary to suit his political agenda. His opposition to the current war in Iran, about which I myself have expressed some skepticism, does not justify this behaviour and is, in fact, undermined by it - no right- thinking person can take him seriously after this.

This kind of stuff happens during war. We should be on guard.
