On Friday afternoon last week the Entomology Department and their friends and family enjoyed our annual spring cookout, complete with games, good weather, and great food! 🌭🥗🏐 Thank you to our Department Head and Grillmaster Dr. Tim Kring for putting on the event every year!

Today at the Radford Public Library some of our graduate students showed off insects and other arthropods to very excited kids! 🕷🦂📖 They got to learn about beetles, grasshoppers, scorpions, spiders, aquatic insects and more. Thank you to the library for inviting us!

So I got Covid and was unable to make it to the ESA Meeting in Providence, RI, but several of my students past and present grouped together and accepted my IPM award on my behalf. Very cool.
