AI was good when it was instant. This new "thinking mode" stuff seems like bloat in the wrong direction. Half the time it seems to just get stuck and I've wasted time watching it "think" when I could have just researched the question myself.

Both need work on the lighting to meet professional fashion photog. standards. That's the *only* slop I see.
The entire fashion photography industry, from high fashion to Instagram, engineered their own downfall. (I was a software dev in a high end photo studio.) Nothing they produce has been "real" in a meaningful sense. So AI photos are just an incremental improvement.

But it still looks like AI, it’s still slop, and normal human beings will still have a visceral and instant negative reaction to it. This effect will be 10x in a fashion context. Models exist to show how the real product looks on a real human, an AI generated image will change the clothes in many undisclosed ways to make them fit into the image, which makes the whole exercise worthless. Besides, you are not selling the product, you are selling the identity, and nobody wants to be a fake human generated by AI.
