God is love (1 John 4:16), so he can't hate sinners. He hates their bad behavior, judges them, and sends them to hell if they don't repent and believe the gospel, but since God is love, it's impossible for him to hate. "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8) So, if God loves people while they're sinners, then he doesn't hate the sinners. The thief on the cross repented as he was dying and he was saved. It's never too late to repent. There have been so many death-bed conversions. Ezekiel also talks about the wicked man who repented and God gave him life: "But if a wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed, keeps all My statutes, and does what is lawful and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die." (Ezekiel 18:21)

This is a cute cliche that is not found in scripture. God pours out his wrath upon sinners and the Bible says, “The boastful shall not stand before You eyes; You hate all evildoers.” Psalm 5:5 God doesn’t just hate the evil, He hates evildoers because they have rejected Him and truth.

JUST IN: During Mass, a priest asks the Lord to “take Donald Trump” during a prayer. The entire congregation starts laughing. “We pray for peace. We pray for Donald Trump, the Lord will take him.” As a Catholic, this is shameful behavior. Wishing death on someone in a place of worship is pure evil.

Like Kevin Kisner, I too would like to apologize for criticizing the Masters broadcast. As just a fan, I clearly failed to appreciate the extraordinary complexity of producing a live golf telecast and the tireless work of the incredibly talented professionals behind the scenes. It was unreasonable of me to expect that a golf broadcast might consistently show live golf shots, or that we might occasionally see players near the top of the leaderboard before the round was over. I also regret checking the Masters app and learning what happened several minutes before the broadcast got around to showing it. Most importantly, the advertisers received the exposure they paid for, which is what truly matters. Moving forward, I will do my best to simply enjoy whatever golf footage eventually appears between commercials.

So the Pope met with David Axelrod last week. David Axelrod. Obama's campaign architect. A man who is not Catholic, has never met a pope before, and whose entire career has been engineering political narratives for the American left. And then, by pure coincidence, the Pope immediately started lobbing shots at the Trump administration, and three US Cardinals popped up on 60 Minutes doing the same thing. All organically, I'm sure. I'm a practicing Catholic. I need you to understand that part. But in my opinion, Trump has all the right to lash out at him. Maybe you'll disagree, but in the end, Trump talks like Trump. Water is wet. I'm talking about MY Church being run like a DNC satellite office but with a golden throne. This is the same Vatican that watched governments padlock churches during COVID and said nothing. That let Biden take communion while funding abortion and said nothing. That fired Bishop Strickland for defending actual Church doctrine. That removed Bishop Fernández in Puerto Rico for defending religious exemptions THE CATECHISM ITSELF supports. But somehow Trump is the threat to human dignity. Pope Francis was bad. Leo has turned out to be worse. Francis at least was vague about his politics. Leo went and hired the consulting firm. The man has ignored the slaughter of Christians across Nigeria, the Sahel, India, Syria, Bangladesh, Pakistan. Hundreds of believers murdered, churches burned, pastors kidnapped. His response? Platitudes about dialogue. OF COURSE he won't even name who's doing the killing. But he'll fly across continents to make interfaith gestures the week after his people coordinated a media hit on a sitting US president. The weaponization of belief is obvious. You get the Pope to pick a fight with Trump, and suddenly millions of conservative Catholics have to choose between their faith and their vote.

I am a Catholic, but I must say that this Pope is moving funny to me. There is a whole Christian genocide going on in Nigeria where he once lived. But this man is more focused on the war in Iran and its politics. Hello Sir, there is a war in Nigeria and Africa too, and Christians are victims. He is the Pope of Christians first before anything else. And the welfare of Christians especially those who are being persecuted should be his priority. But Christians were massacred during Easter in Nigeria for their faith and I did not see any strong condemnation or reaction from the Pope. Instead the Pope is consistently focused on the middle East and Donald Trump's and Isreals war with Terrorists. I sincerely do not understand this Pope. It is Silence in the face of evil that makes evil multiply. What exactly does he want the world to do with terrorists who believe their destiny is to kill every unbeliever and take over the world? I hope that this Pope gets his priorities right.

If God is perfectly good, He would desire to save everyone. If He is all-powerful, He would be able to do so. If both are true, everyone would be saved. Since not everyone is saved, either God lacks power, lacks goodness, or does not exist. Choose wisely.
