@AllenKessler Do you think the tournament director matters? @SavagePoker

I am very certain that one day we will look back on our meat and dairy industry and the torture of billions of helpless sentient beings as a barbaric unthinkable black mark in our history.
Molecularly identical lab produced meat can't come fast enough, imo.
I was vegetarian for about 12 years because I just have so much anguish over the animal cruelty (but iron dropped so much at one point I had to go to the hospital five weeks in a row for big bags of IV iron), and have many times thought about trying to go back.
I'm positive it will eventually be the primary source of meat, but it might take a few decades.
No Farmers, No Food@NoFarmsNoFoods
Lab-grown food could be sold in the UK within two years. This is wrong on many levels. Italy recently banned lab grown food to protect their farmers. The UK government should be doing the same.

It’s not too late to get out and vote for the Women’s Poker Hall of Fame candidates.
If you don’t know Jeanne David @jeanriders and what she’s accomplished in the industry here is her bio, and the link to vote is below.
Jeanne David may not be well known to a lot of people (unless you’re in the Mixed Games Poker Scene), but she has contributed to the world of poker in many ways.
She was the head of responsible gaming for the largest poker site in the world, PokerStars, until she retired a few years ago.
She was very active in legislative work around the US and Europe, promoting the legalization and regulation of online poker.
She assisted in the success of legalizing online poker for Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania & Nevada.
She was an active Nevada state lobbyist and made several trips up to Reno and Sacramento to speak to senators about how responsible gaming can be incorporated into every online poker site.
She spoke in front of Parliament in the Netherlands, and had several meetings with the UK Gambling commission addressing responsible gaming and the prevention of gambling addiction.
Jeanne is also a prominent member of the mixed game community promoting mixed game tournaments around Las Vegas.
She created a distribution list where she informs players about the mixed game tournaments and games are being held in town.
She has held master classes teaching mixed games and always tries to get women involved in the tournaments by offering them free beginners lessons.
While she retired from the industry in 2021, she never slowed down when it comes to the Poker community.
She final tabled the $1500 WSOP Razz tournament right before Covid, and recently hosted the Horse tournament at the Malta Poker festival in the midst of having two heart surgeries!
Jeanne has almost $250K in tournament cashes in which 95% of them are in Mixed Games.
Please SHARE- voting ends Oct 30!

“Grocery” shopping with @AllenKessler

Allen Kessler@AllenKessler
Yikes. Except I don't buy groceries...
English

@AllenKessler 100% chance you paid with a comp.
0% chance you paid $5 cash for that bread.

Looking at the WSOPC Hammond schedule, I see they’re adding a ‘Rookies’ non-ring event for those with under $25,000 in @TheHendonMob earnings

@ComicDaveSmith @joerogan Good for you, Dave. I don’t always agree with you, but I respect that you seek the truth, first and foremost.

Trump supporters have a lot of nerve flipping out because @joerogan said some nice things about RFK.
During the greatest assault on liberty in modern US history, Trump praised lockdowns, demonized countries not locking down and brags to this day about the bs vax.
Rogan, on the other hand, had the biggest platform in the country and relentlessly exposed the entire con for what it was, in heroic fashion.
I’m not endorsing Bobby Kennedy (neither is Joe btw) but he can support whoever the hell he wants to and if people who are voting for President lockdown warp speed have a problem, maybe they should consider the possibility that their guy should be less awful on stuff.
