@GregFinberg Our most important players currently on the roster are *teenagers*. We knew this draft didn’t have polished gems. This staff has helped young talent develop in real ways. The next two drafts are much more important for us. Being bad is half the battle. Chill, fam!

@washedwiz Yeah only funny cuz we still get AJ. But Clips getting a top 5 pick (plus a future first) for the 15th best center in the league despite sending the #1 to OKC, the Pels pick jumping, then everyone else falling… just 👨🏻‍🍳🤌

@robin8jm I don’t think I can be mad at it as a Wizards fan but the NBA as a whole would be cooked

Watching Jalen Brunson makes me really interested in Darius Acuff Jr. for the Wizards if they are picking at five.

@DubClayton 😂 Deni was drafted to support Tommy’s vision of Beal being an MVP. The “extended rebuild” roster starts w Bilal (who is 4 years away from his prime). Didn’t love the trade, but this is just ignorant from M.Y.

@ImBino__ The Bulls and Wizards are feeder teams for West contenders

The funniest possible outcome is the Wizards falling to 5, the Suns going on to win the lottery and receive the #1 pick, only for the Wizards pick swap from the Beal trade to be activated.

@GregFinberg Meh. I’m like 60% for firing. He hasn’t really built any systems, like a Charles Lee, Will Hardy, or even Jordy Fernandez. He has developed guys, but hard to say how much is him vs. just having talent. Might be a good break with the tanking times to bring in a new coach.

Should the Wizards retain Brian Keefe as head coach for next season?

NEWS: Charlotte transfer, Anton Bonke, will test the 2026 NBA Draft waters, his agent Scott Nichols of @Rize_Management tells DraftExpress. The 7’2” Dutch-Ni-Van center is fresh off a monstrous breakout season. Late to the game with intriguing tools and upside to tap into.

@Domo8186 They don’t even need to ban b2b top 5, just tax the bottom 10 teams (1% of the salary cap for 10th, 10% for worst, and so on) and owners will be rushing to get out of the bottom. Also might push out the shite owners like Sacto and Chicago, which I think the league may want.

- Get rid of the lotto like the NFL - Remove pick protections - No b2b top 5 95% of the problem goes away

@DubClayton Yeah the dumbest thing they did was “flatten” the odds. Makes more teams have a reason to tank and makes rebuilding take 4-5 years instead of 2-3

I’ll never understand the logic behind giving a team with the worst record in the league better odds of getting 5th (47.9%) vs. landing a T3 pick (40.1%) Like… there’s a higher probability of dropping to 5 than any of the bottom 3 teams getting the No. 1 pick (42.0%)

This Wizards front office has done a great job at identifying young building blocks on the wings. Kyshawn George, Will Riley, Tre Johnson, and Bilal Coulibay is still very young and developing. Next year is when we can start to look at results from the tear down, but I really love what Washington is doing.
