@odo332001 @MarkMoscrop Not just the TV company though is it. Grimsby benefitted from the TV money and so would have wanted it to be played. If it was postponed, there is no guarantee that the game would be broadcast meaning there would be no TV money.

@CountyChamp So the man that’s rightly in possession of the spinners shirt for England this test was the last person to do achieve this in each of the past two seasons. Dawson did it in division one.. the gulf in divisions is enormous.

No one had achieved this feat since 2024. Tom Hartley is the second person to do it today.

@Michael64203490 @willis_macp Because Dawson plays, takes wickets and scores runs in division one against the likes of Surrey, Notts and Warwickshire etc. Rehan Ahmed is admirably scoring good runs but they are coming in division two where he’s barely getting a bowl.

Per sources, understand an agreement has been reached with at least one prospective buyer for Sheffield Wednesday. Believe documents were out for signing yesterday and at least one buyer has signed theirs. This doesn’t mean a deal is done but the process is moving. #SWFC
