This war and the entire energy crisis stemming from it were provoked by the current administration. It is a conflict that brings absolutely no benefit to the American people. It appears Trump just agreed to give Iran control of the Strait of Hormuz, a history-changing win for Iran. The level of incompetence is both stunning and heartbreaking. What on earth is happening?

The President of the United States is threatening to commit war crimes and wipe out a "whole civilization" — all because he started a disastrous war of his own making and had no plan and no strategy for how to end it. Trump's recklessness is needlessly putting our brave service members in harm's way, destroying America's global standing, and making life even more unaffordable for the American people. @roblpierce @RepMikeLevin No but sitting in a tent on a mountain next to two 5kw generators 12 hours a day will do it. My entire unit experienced severe to total hearing loss sitting on those mountains for 3 months at a time. What the fuck did you do in the service or did you even serve?
