For me it’s been great to try and reconfigure the ward to meet the demands of each unique scenario and to make each simulation feel as real as possible. So over summer it’s time to reflect and look to improve the environment to deliver an even better learning experience.

In April the Collegiate Wing opened its doors to all the healthcare students at Sheffield Hallam University Utilising a range of simulation equipment, the 12 bed simulation ward has hosted simulations for @ahpshu @ShuAdultNursing @SHUChildNursing @OT_SHU @SHUMentalHealth

Virtual sim 🥽 session yesterday with year 10s from across North Devon @RoyalDevonNHS North (on work experience) Awesome to meet them and hopefully inspire medical teams of the future! @NHSE_TEL @NHSHEE_SWest @SWSimNetwork
