@OpenAI I have a Teams Account. I can't generate in SORA. Is that coming soon? I'm surprised that was not available on release date being that it's a premium to the plus account but Pro already has access...

# automating software engineering In my mind, automating software engineering will look similar to automating driving. E.g. in self-driving the progression of increasing autonomy and higher abstraction looks something like: 1. first the human performs all driving actions manually 2. then the AI helps keep the lane 3. then it slows for the car ahead 4. then it also does lane changes and takes forks 5. then it also stops at signs/lights and takes turns 6. eventually you take a feature complete solution and grind on the quality until you achieve full self-driving. There is a progression of the AI doing more and the human doing less, but still providing oversight. In Software engineering, the progression is shaping up similar: 1. first the human writes the code manually 2. then GitHub Copilot autocompletes a few lines 3. then ChatGPT writes chunks of code 4. then you move to larger and larger code diffs (e.g. Cursor copilot++ style, nice demo here youtube.com/watch?v=Smklr4…) 5.... Devin is an impressive demo of what perhaps follows next: coordinating a number of tools that a developer needs to string together to write code: a Terminal, a Browser, a Code editor, etc., and human oversight that moves to increasingly higher level of abstraction. There is a lot of work not just on the AI part but also the UI/UX part. How does a human provide oversight? What are they looking at? How do they nudge the AI down a different path? How do they debug what went wrong? It is very likely that we will have to change up the code editor, substantially. In any case, software engineering is on track to change substantially. And it will look a lot more like supervising the automation, while pitching in high-level commands, ideas or progression strategies, in English. Good luck to the team!

Today we're excited to introduce Devin, the first AI software engineer. Devin is the new state-of-the-art on the SWE-Bench coding benchmark, has successfully passed practical engineering interviews from leading AI companies, and has even completed real jobs on Upwork. Devin is an autonomous agent that solves engineering tasks through the use of its own shell, code editor, and web browser. When evaluated on the SWE-Bench benchmark, which asks an AI to resolve GitHub issues found in real-world open-source projects, Devin correctly resolves 13.86% of the issues unassisted, far exceeding the previous state-of-the-art model performance of 1.96% unassisted and 4.80% assisted. Check out what Devin can do in the thread below.

Big News. NVIDIA just announced Neuralangelo. The new model can turn videos from any device into detailed 3D structures, fully replicating buildings, sculptures, or other real world objects or spaces virtually. Here's how it works: A model utilizes a 2D video with multiple angles of an object or scene. It selects frames from different viewpoints to understand depth, size, and shape. The AI creates an initial 3D representation, similar to a sculptor shaping a subject. The render is optimized to enhance details, like a sculptor refining texture. The outcome is a 3D object or scene suitable for virtual reality, digital twins, or robotics.

4am. 60 pill protocol in. Red light therapy. Cold shower. FINALLY back at desk. +A lesson on why you should NEVER take vacations till you do this.. The last week -I went yacht side to the Monaco Grand Prix, -Sailed around the French Rivera on a private super yacht with a full staff just for me and my gf -Gambled at Casino De Monte Carlo -Hung with the most successful people I've ever met -Ate at Michelin restaurants around France, -Sat on more beaches than I can count.... -Hell literally had a michelin level private chef for days on our boat. Literally hundreds of thousands spent on "living a little" as people say I need to do on here so much lol. This was literally a bucket list "speed run" of things I always wanted to do crammed into 1 vacation While it was an amazing experience, Ill always treasure doing so may "life firsts" with my partner... The entire time I was simply looking forward to getting back my desk and back to attacking life. If I had to choose to live 1 week over and over for the rest of my life it would be 1 of my 4am routine. I am more full filled right now writing this to you in my garage than laying on the deck of a 50 million $$ yacht being served fine cheese by my private staff. I dont write this to look humble. I am not. I write this to let you know if you build a life routine of discipline that you love...you are not missing much than a few highs. The main course is your day to day. My businesses, the gym, Jiu Jitsu, biohacking to live to 150, guns/knives, clean as fuck living and maxing life stats/learning new things with my partner. (Which by the way outside of bio hacking costs and Jiu Jitsu class cost...require very little money.. anyone can do it) There is no experience, moment, material item you can buy that will give you more fullfillment than a daily repetitive routine CHOCKED to the brim with things you love, creation and absent of poison/people that de-energize you. The flip side, if you try to find yourself in these things...You will only find temporary highs followed by long term lows. My day to day life of creating, fighting and thriving is better than any vacation I could ever take or any experience/item I could ever buy. There is no future moment/goal that will give you relief from a badly built life routine. There is no easier way to always be happy and need nothing than a well build life routine. Thrilled to be back. Vacationing is fucking hard lol. Non stop brutality mode for the rest of the year. Lets f#$king go.

Beta Testers are required as this release is a big change. In addition to the features listed above. The REST API is now auto-loaded using composer in the hope that it will provide a slightly faster response time.
