Heartbreaking to watch when you know our AFP colleague who shot all these videos is now dead. But also makes me proud to be part of the same news agency and profession. Arman Soldin represents the best of us and will be someone to look up to for many more journalists to come.

Arman Soldin was part of the first team to enter Ukraine following Russia's invasion. He spent months telling the story of a country at war and the life of its inhabitants. Soldin was killed last week by rocket fire in eastern Ukraine. He was 32. Here is a tribute to his exceptional work

Journalism is fundamental to a free society.
